After starting out as an animator at Tatsunoko Productions, he joined up with GAINAX on production of "The Royal Space Force". He has also done a variety of other things, such as character designs for the "Yadamon" anime TV series and the MegaDrive computer game "Shining Force 2".
Presently, his main work is in manga. The manga version of "Yadamon" is available in collected form from Tokuma Shoten, and his story "Percolation" from Takeshobo, while his current series, "Marine Color" is being serialized in Shonen Ace, published by Kadokawa Shoten.


Yadamon


A popular anime series which aired on NHK in 1992, "Yadamon" is a fantasy of adventures and dreams involving the witch Yadamon, who goes to the world of humans and does whatever she feels like; the temporal faery Time-mon; and a boy named Jan. SUEZEN designed all the charming characters in the series, and created the comic version (published by Tokuma Shoten) as well.


Shining Force 2


A tactical RPG for the MegaDrive System, this game tells the epic heroic saga of the battle between the Shining Force and the legion of demons which they oppose.
SUEZEN designed the characters for the game. This section of the game contains his character illustrations, as well as package art and cover illustrations for the novelization.



Marine Color


A popular manga, currently serialized in Shonen Ace Monthly.
Susumu, who lives on a South Seas island, is an expert swimmer. While skindiving one day, he finds a sunken ship, only to get trapped inside. On the verge of drowning, he is rescued by Paretti, a mermaid with aspirations to be a designer. They promptly fall in love, but it is forbidden for mermaids and humans to intermingle...
This section mainly contains illustrations from the Kadokawa Shoten art book "eternal".

Variety


This section includes original illustrations from as animation productions as "Roujin Z" and "The Royal Space Force", the novel "Magical High School", and the comic "Privation #show2", so that you can see the variety of art styles which SUEZEN uses.
