Removing Screensavers |
 |
There is no uninstaller for the screensavers included with Collector's Discs 1-3. Follow these steps to remove these screensavers manually: |

Open the Screen Properties Control Panel, and set the current screensaver to None. |

Delete the folder Evascr (or Evascr2, or Evascr3) and all contents from your harddisk. |
| ¥ |
Delete the files Evalib.dll and Evascr.ini (or Evalib2.dll and Evascr2.ini, or Evalib3.dll and Evascr3.ini) from the Windows folder on your harddisk. |

Delete all files beginning with Evascr, and ending in .scr, .hlp, .dll, from your Windows folder. |

Note: be careful not to delete any other files besides these. |

Wallpaper Configuration |

Copy the BMP file for the wallpaper you want to use from the Collector's Disc to your harddisk. |
| ¥ |
Open Backgrounds within the Screen Control Panel, then choose the wallpaper file which you copied from within Wallpaper. If you can't find the file you copied, click the View Button, and examine the location on your hardidsk where you copied the file. |

Changing Icons |

On Windows systems, you can only change shortcut icons (the ones with the little arrows in the lower left corners). |

Place the cursor on the shortcut icon which you wish to change, then bring up the Properties box with a right-click. |

Click the Change Icon button on the Shortcut page of the Properties box to display the present file's name and icon design. |

Click View in the lower left of the box, then search through the icons in the Icon Folder on the Collector's Disc. |
| ¥ |
When you find the icon you want, click Open to substitute it for the current Shortcut Icon. |

Finally, click OK and close the window, and you're done. |

Configuring Audio Files |

Copy the WAVE file which you want to use from the Collector's Disc to the Media Folder inside the Windows Folder on your harddisk. |

Open the Sound Control Panel. Choose the When Sounds Are Played Event, then the audio files which you want to play from the Sound Names list. If you can't find them, click on View, then examine the place on your harddisk where you copied the audio files. |

When you have found the audio files you seek, select them and then click OK to set them. |
