| This bizarre bronze statue (I can't bring myself to call it an "objet d'art") is just outside the South Exit of JR Mitaka Station (near GAINAX). It's gloomy and gives me the creeps just looking at it. Whyinhell would they put something like this in a train station entrance, anyway? They probably got some big-name artist to make it, I imagine, but a bench would have made more artistic sense, not to mention actually being useful. |
