His older brother, who later became one of the ten Shogun of Pars, Shapool, went back to rescue him, finding that, near the place where the boy was lived wolves. Ever since then, Isfan was called by many 'Falhadin' () or 'the one who was raised by wolves'. Isfan joins Arslan at Peshwald castle in OVA3, and is the one that precipitates Guibu's flight as a quarrel degenerated into a fight when he learned that Guibu was the one who killed his brother as he was being tortured by the Lusitanian High Priest Bodan. Isfan is a very rigid and stiff chararacter, always tense and ready for the worse, but little is know about his life or his background, other than his proufound attachment to his brother and loyalty to Prince Arslan.
