        Nadeshiko is Sakura and Touya's deceased mother. As far as I know, I don't know much about her death, other than it was untimely. Sakura does remember her mother and asks her father about Nadeshiko. Fujitaka (Sakura's dad) always speaks kindly of Nadeshiko.
        Nadeshiko was best friends with Tomoyo's mother, Sonomi since childhood. Nadeshiko eventually fell in love with Fujitaka or Kinomoto-sensei (at the time ^_~). Sonomi at one point in the manga tells Sakura and Tomoyo how Nadeshiko was admiring birds in a tree and fell out landing on Fujitaka! Nadeshiko was very kind and sweet when she was alive, not to mention beautiful. She was absolutely gorgeous! (no wonder she became a model!) Nadeshiko doesn't make a real appearance in Card Captor Sakura, but she's a very important character nonetheless.
