To: Mr. Ooba Norikatu Second Consumer R&D Department Sega Enterprises 1-2-12 Haneda Oota-ku, Tokyo 144 Japan. Dear Mr. Ooba, Request for Addition of English Support to Sakura Taisen First I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to Sega and Red for making Sakura Taisen, which is undoubtedly one of the best games released on any platform, and I have enjoyed this game very much. Unfortunately, not being a native Japanese speaker, I can't understand much of the text and dialog, which is regrettable because I'm sure I would have enjoyed the game even more if I had understood what was being said. Thus I'd like to request that Sega/Red consider adding English support to Sakura Taisen (and/or Sakura Taisen 2). Since the voice acting in Sakura Taisen is superb, I'd be perfectly satisfied with a text-only English support (i.e. all dialogs will be in original Japanese but the player can choose to display the text either in Japanese or in English). It is my belief that Sakura Taisen with English support will be a huge hit in English-speaking game markets, and would be beneficial to both Sega/Red and western gamers alike. I will definitely buy it and I will also surely recommend it to my friends. In view of the huge potential benefit and the minimal cost involved, I suggest Sega/Red could and should make Sakura Taisen as successful internationally as it has been in Japan. Thank you for your kind attention. Yours Sincerely,
