Oh! I forgot to mention. I'm 41, and unlike most of you other guys, am NOT

Actually, Sakura Taisen helped me learn to read Japanese much better. I got
through the first time by picking up the words and meanings I knew, digging out
my kanji guide, and looking for positive and negative statements in the LIPS
responses to see what kind of response Oogami was giving. I also videotaped
some segments so I could go back and read the dialogue and pick up the story
better. ST 2 took me longer because I was more exhaustive (and was writing a
summary for the Compuserve Anime/Manga Forum). If I had questions, I'd drop
notes to my anime sensei and he'd often feed me a few bits of information.
