You've got the names correct, though Jouki Chikuonkan is the
instrumental
soundtrack only for ST1. One of the two disks is in cd-extra format and
you can run it on your windoze or mac and see some pics of the mecha,
no characters :(
The really disappointing omission to me is the lack of the instrumental
versions of the characters' theme songs.
There's a Jouki Chikuonkan for ST2 that I think was recently released
which should be the instrumental soundtrack for that. I don't have the
number for it as I've only seen it in a recent magazine.
One more cd you should consider is the OVA soundtrack:
Sakura Taisen ~Ouka Kenran~ Hikarirokuonkan
MJCA-00030 3150 yen
Includes vocals and non-vocals, covers the 4 episodes and uses up
practically the whole disk - 73min 54sec, 53 tracks. A few of the tracks
are similar or the same as the stuff on the ST1 CDs, but it's mostly
different and worth it if you like Tanaka Kouhei's music.
Actually as I listen to it right now, I must upgrade 'consider' to
'strongly recommend'. The tracks which are similar are done with a full
orchestra instead of the Saturn sound chip, which is very very good
in its own right and what Jouki Chikuonkan sounds like.
