>>> Anyway, I can't wait to see them!
Me neither. I kind of "discovered" ST after all the fansub places started
pulling them and only got to see episode 1. However in the preview for episode
2 I recognized the name for Sakura's special attack.<<
You'll enjoy them. The OAV series is very good at maintaining the chronological
events already discussed in the game story.
1-3 basically show and illustrate the founding and early days of the Teikoku
Kagekidan and cover some events leading up to the game (the third OAV, as a
matter of fact, ends with Oogami meeting Sakura in Ueno Park). You've already
seen the first. The second focuses on the recruiting of Sakura and the group's
internal problems. The third OAV features Sakura joining the group with mixed
results at best, the infant group's first battle with the Kuronosukai (also a
near disaster), and also clearly demonstrates why they needed Oogami as Kaicho.
And the fourth, of course, feels (and plays out) just like a nice "omake" game
episode. Great stuff.
