I wonder how Iris can stay a munchkin forever if she can read minds?
"Why is Onii-chan looking at Sumire like that? Eeee?! Onii-chan no ecchi!!"
;) Or can she? Is her ability closer to empathy than actual mind-reading?
Anyway, since she says she wants to be treated like an adult, she may as
well start to act like one. Sheesh, now I sound like a Basher of Iris! :)
But from that screenshot of ST3 that was floating around a while ago, Iris
looks about the same age. She may have too many fans for Red to go and
change her character in ST3 by making her grow up.
On the other hand, two years is a long time for someone that young, and
she really ought to have changed during the four years between ST1 and ST3
(assuming that there'll be 2 years inbetween again). Add in her experiences
as a very gifted child and veteran of combat, and I think it would be a
little odd if Red decided not to develop her character any further. Just my
two cents.
Incidentally, from watching the ST2 intro, I thought that Leni was to
be a new romantic interest for Iris. But from what I gather (I haven't
played ST2 yet), Leni... well, I won't spoil it for anyone else. ;)
