Over here in L.A. we have many international channels. 18, 52, 62? I
forgot, but they show a variety of foreign shows from Korean to Japanese
to Chinese. That's probably because we have specialized broadcasting
companies which cater to these specific groups. They're sent via normal
airwaves, so no satellite/cable. You can get NHK TV (Japanese) via
satellite/cable though as well as some other Chinese shows broadcast from
Hong Kong.
If you want to watch Japanese dramas and you live in So. Cal. and probably
No. Cal, then just drop by a local Japanese video store. They have tons
of them.

P.S. I will have the pic of Iris' mom up within a day or two. I found
out I had to replay a bit to get to Chapter 8, 9, 10? The Christmas
episode, and then a little bit after so that I can go visit her parents.
^_^;; My last save point was on Chapter 6, a turning point I used to get
4 of the endings. I still need to do Kanna's, Maria's, Kohran's, and
Soletta's. ^_^ Well, I guess this discussion has gotten me playing
again. And I should get my Teigeki Graph this Saturday (have to pick it
up from my parents ^^;).
