Both/neither. I like to romanize it Shinguuji because it corresponds
to hiragana phonetics (Shi n gu u ji). It makes it easier for me to
remember how to write her name in Japanese (hiragana). There
are a couple of school of thoughts on Japanese romanization.
Unfortunately, I forgot them all. ^^; One system is called Hepburn (I
think) -> I may be thinking of Chinese ... I get them mixed up
sometimes.
