Sakura Taisen is cool. Sakura Taisen 2 is not so cool in that
aspect. ST2 is noticeably slower in ALL areas. About the only thing
that's sped up from 1 to 2 is koubu walking.
The supers in ST2 were so unbearable in terms of loading time that
I tried my best to avoid using them unless I absolutely had to(ie hit the
boss with everything I've got). Heck, Godai-kun told me that the way he
deals with it is he uses the super... then turns the channel to go watch
some TV for a little bit, then turns it back. Aside from the combined
supers, I didn't find their style visually appealing either.

Well, it's not the text. It's just little things. A half a second extra
loading time when you roam around the Teigeki. A whopping 5-10 seconds
extra waiting time for supers. A half a second here, a second there.
Maybe to a PSXer it's ok(low blow, I know...) but I thought the Saturn was
supposed to minimize all that. If ST2 was 4MB RAM cart compatible, i'd
definitely use it everytime I played.

Sorry Richard, but I found that aspect of ST2 particularly annoying, even
more so when I replayed ST and discovered just how "speedy" it was against
its sequel.

Anyone else agree?
