Well, to be honest, I felt it was a little slow at first but got used to it. I
only think the loading times for the battle sequences were slow.

I'll do this at times. Reason below.

I've never experience bad load times of MKR except when loading
digitized anime sequences (very slight though).

Reason why some of us try to fly through everything. It's a time
factor for me, but I do go back at a slower pace to enjoy everything.
 I guess what I really consider slow are the battle sequences. It
becomes a bit boring the win the "same" battle 10 times. So for me,
dialogue speed and pace is superb. Combat speed is too slow.
