One would think, but Sega has done dumb things in the past, and they will
continue to do dumb things in the future.

If Red has a time limited contract with Sega, than when that expires I
suppose Red could do whatever it wants. If Sega permanently owns part or all
of ST, than I doubt Sega will allow ST to go to its primary competitor.
