I'll third on "Sakura".As I said before long long ago, I like "Sakura" because of
its clean, pure feeling. And one the few songs today that won't be affected by
different bass settings. :p

IMHO, I think some songs in the second vocal collection was arranged a bit too
modern with the extra bass and all that (eg Hauruga Kuru). Which, to me, seems a
bit out of place of the time setting of Sakura Taisen. I'm not saying that this
makes the songs bad, just doesn't seem fit for the time period.
