On the topic of the character art in ST2, I have to agree
and say that for the most part, the art takes a dip on the
bad side. While most of the animation sequence had
pretty good art(Sakura's uniform change and boarding
of the Koubu) there were some exceptions(like the ugly
Oogami in the ending sequence someone mentioned
previously) and overall, much of the character stills are
worse than in the first game(IMO). In much of the stills
in the game, the characters have a "soft" look which
doesn't look right. It's like all of the character's have
well...grown soft and character-wise, I'd guess that's
the case in ST2. Maria's gone soft and Sumire has
definitely gone soft. And I don't like this softness. I
liked Maria and especially Sumire much more before
they went this soft. From what I've read of past posts,
I take it there might be a few who disagree with me...

I also think Tsubaki was cuter in the 1st ST game.

On another subject... I was doing a quick browse through
the Teigeki Graph magazine and noticed the Iris picture
diary. Is it just me or has Iris's drawing grown worse since
the 1st game(remember her diary in ep 4?). Her hand-
writing hasn't improved much either. Maybe all that
psychic power has affected her learning ability... :\
