Ah, thanks. So this is something unique to Square and Enix? >Not to make this note a total waste of everyone's time, I'd just like to ask >if anyone has found some worth of Sakura Tsushin, which so far I've found to >be mostly a waste, especially since I have Teigeki Graph, so I don't >_really_ need the interviews from Tsushin... nice to have if you're a Sakura >collector, though... Well, there is the "dating game", and the Teigeki Kayou Zenshu quiz game (with Tsubaki! ^_^), and the sketches and 3D art of the mecha, and all the interviews, like Richard mentioned.... Anyway, I thought it was worth the $25 I paid for it at NCS. It is just a "multimedia soft digital fan disc", after all, and it would be wrong to expect too much from it. As a fan disc, I think it's quite good. And what about the "Valentine" card? ^_^ It's too bad that NCS has apparently sold out of it. I have no idea where else it could be found. :( >Also, is there anyone else here who has played ST2 before ST1? This is my >current experience, and the only complaint I can really form is that ST1 has >much too many save points, nearly to the extent that it crucially interrupts >the flow of the game. It's a highly minor complaint, though, so whatever... I'm in the middle of ST2 now, and I've played through ST1 twice, and I didn't really notice much difference in the frequency of save points. I did play them several months apart, though, so I can't say that I have a good perspective for comparing them. The only complaint I had about saving in either game was the battle in ST2 where it's just battle after battle, with no save points. (This is the part where the "spider lady" falls into the waterfall after you defeat her.) It was a pain, because if you're not careful and somebody dies, there's a lot to do over. Unfortunately, that happens too often to me because I love the Wind formation so much. ^_^; As a side note, I'd just like to say for the benefit of people who don't own a Saturn or any Sakura Taisen games, that now is probably the best time to make the investment. Prices are decent, and the hardware and software will only get harder to find, as the the final nails get pounded into the Saturn's coffin. Here's a short list of stuff that's out there: Sega Saturn $110 (white) Victor V-Saturn $110 (grey) Switch mod $20 (for playing US games on a Japanese Saturn or vice versa) Sakura Taisen $39 ("Satakore" inexpensive re-release) Sakura Taisen 2 $55 Steam Radio Show $39 Sakura Taisen $32 (Satakore) Sakura Taisen 2 $59.95 Sega Saturn $129 (white) If you have no interest in playing any other games besides Sakura Taisen, it'll cost as "little" as $207 to get a new Japanese Saturn and both games. You could probably save more money by buying a US Saturn at a local store or from eBay, and sending it to NCS to have it modded. So hopefully, nobody has to feel like they're missing out anymore, and we can all enjoy these great games! ^_^
