The first time I played, I got 7300 points. Then I erased my score accidentally. ^_^; The second time I played, I got 16600 points. So I think it's safe to say that the mouse helps a lot. Especially if you are not a "shooter god"; I sure am not. The only chains I can get in Radiant Silvergun are 3A and 3B, but I've often wished for mouse control in 3C. Then I could weave my way through the corridors with ease. ^_^; I'm just not able to get the precision I need out of the pad. So anyway, for a person who's spent more time using a mouse than playing shooters like me, using the regular control pad in Iris's ST2 minigame is like driving a car with a manual transmission without having learned manual. On the other hand, mouse control is the most easy and natural thing in the world. Now, I realize that Saturn mice are not easy to find nowadays, so I'll shut up about it now! But just in case you are able to find a Saturn mouse cheap, it may be worthwhile to pick it up. I think it may also be possible to use a regular PC mouse using the Netlink Keyboard Adapter, but I'm not sure of that at all. I may be remembering incorrectly. If anybody knows for sure, please share! ^_^
