I had that same problem, until I realized what was going on. The white glove moves up by itself, and you press the correct button to make it move down and hit the note. You get the maximum amount of points for pressing the button once for each note; I used auto-fire, and although I hit all the notes easily, my score was low. Incidentally, you still get full points for auto-fire in the "Sleeping Beauty mode" version, but not in "long-day" mode. I beat the easy "long-day" version after much pulling of hair, but all I can manage in the hard "long-day" version is "better desu." I wish they wouldn't kick you out of their room after you play once, because the loading gets on my nerves after a while. They don't give you the option of seeing high scores, playing again, and quitting anymore; they force you to quit. i don't know why. Maria's minigame: I still haven't figured this one out. It seems like the goal is to have the "ninja guys"/stagehands put a disco ball on top of each light fixture, but I haven't been able to do that on purpose yet. Apparently you get points for having the stagehands clean the light that's flashing, but that's the most I can deduce. Maybe have them clean all the lights on each fixture? Sakura's, Iris's, Sumire's minigame: I've only played this a few times, but it seems really easy, considering that there's no time limit. Is this game a way to manipulate who ends up being Aurora? By giving only one of the girls the dresses she wants? Leni's minigame: I've gone through 2 pictures, with 3 puzzles for each picture; the first puzzle is easy with big pieces, the second is tougher with smaller and more pieces, and the third has even smaller and more pieces. The first picture was a castle, the second looked like the inside of some temple, and the third is a forest during a storm, with a castle in the background, I think. I wonder if there's any reward for finishing enough puzzles. For that matter, I wonder if there's any reward for any of the minigames. Kanna and Kouran's minigame: This one is pretty straightforward. I don't think I played it in long-day mode yet, but I'm probably in for a surprise. It didn't seem too difficult in the Sleeping Beauty mode. Yoneda's minigame: Yes, it does seem like Stratego. It seems pretty easy, too, using the Fire formation. I must be missing something. Maybe you get something for winning with no casualties? ^_^; If anyone has some strategies for this game, I'd love to read them. Kaede doesn't seem to have a minigame at all; she just talks to Oogami. What's going on? Saki: Argh! Why won't she let me go down to the basement?! I want to visit the Baragumi! Maybe the basement is the prize for conquering all the minigames? The Sannin Musume quiz game: It took me several hours to finish, relying on short-term memory and knowledge of the charaters' names and a few kanji. (Yes, it can be done!) I too have the feeling that Oogami has to run through the quiz a second time to get any omake. Didn't somebody say that some new options opened up for them after completing the quiz? And, although it wouldn't do me any good, are all the answers to the quiz in the Kinematron? It seems to contain a fairly extensive amount of information. Hanafuda: As good as ever. It took me a while to get back into the Hanfuda groove (Orihime was absoltuely destroying me at first ^_^;) but after a while, I was in the zone and it took me maybe three continues to get up to Yoneda. As always, I recommend turning off the Moon + Sake and Sakura + Sake combos and turning the two "junk" rules on. I find it much easier that way, but maybe that's just all in my head. I'm still not entirely sure what those rules are. I think one of them make the Rain junk worth two junk points, and the other one makes the Rooster "light" (or one of the other cards in that suit) worth two junk points as well. I think I posted some Hanfuda tips somewhere, but if anybody wants more Hanfuda advice, I'd be happy to share strategies. I'm no world-class Hanafuda player, so if anybody else is good, I'd be happy to listen to advice as well. Sleeping Beauty mode: Thankfully, the minigames in this mode seem to be the easiest versions. So far, I've only got a picture of Sakura, and the applause meter was all filled except for the leftmost bar. I guess that means I got a 9. Aurora was Sakura, Maria was the prince, Kanna was the king, Orihime was the queen, Leni, Iris, and Kouran were fairies, and Sumire was the witch. What I'm wondering now is how to manipulate the game to get all the omake pics. I'm pretty sure that you only get a pic of the character who is Aurora. But, if you screw up one character's game on purpose to put them out of contention for the Aurora role, doesn't that decrease the applause score and lessen your chance of earning an omake pic? Is the casting determined only by what you tell Kaede your favorite plays are? I'm pretty sure I picked Ai wa Daiya and Ai Yueni, in that order. If somebody worked out a walkthrough or strategy guide, or even just figure out what determines One final note: This seems to be the only Sakura Taisen game that isn't compatible with the mouse. Boy, the mouse would come in handy for Leni's minigame... but it'd be kind of tough to play Orihime's hard minigame. :) "Sasuga Oogami-san desu ne!"
