No, Thousand Arms was heavier on action than dating sim, unlike Sakura Taisen, which is VERY heavily dialogue based w/some action here and there. Face it, everyone is being way optimistic about this and ignoring the facts. And um, the game was announced as being under development for well over a year. Yes, the game, in some form or another does exist, just no information outside of that has been released. Is there just not anything going on w/it or is RED being incredibly secretive? And WHY would ST3 be released here? It's in the middle of series. It's not like Final Fantasy where none of the games relate to each other. Sakura Taisen is an ongoing story. You wouldn't read the last novel in trilogy first, would you? That'd be pointless, as you wouldn't know what's going on. Now, if there was to be a Best of ST 1 and ST2 released for DC and if Atlus were to release those first, that'd be a different story. But it's just idiotic to release ST3 first. Just look at ST1 and ST2. If you play ST2 first and they mention something about Ayame, you're NOT going to know what's going on or it's just not going to be significant to you. Not to say that ST2 sucks if you play it first, but you don't get the whole experience. ----- Original Message ----- From: Caleb Lawson To: Sent: Thursday, October 14, 1999 6:04 PM Subject: Re: An interesting thing I read in Gamefan today > As far as Sakura Taisen being "too Japanese" & thus too risky to release in > America, well, I'd say most companies would feel the same way about Thousand > Arms.
