I always say "OAV" out of habit but I do know that Viz of America calls them officially "OVA". Come to think of it, I think the Japanese companies also call it OVA which makes me wonder where "OAV" came from... still, as far as I know, neither is wrong and either is accepted and understood. > > what's a "converter"? also, what does OAV stand for? I didn't read the past emails but i think the "converter" refers to something that allows your American/European Saturn to recognize and play Japanese games(for example Sakura Taisen, etc)
