Otaru's Marionettes

Lime Cherry Bloodberry

Others

Mamiya Otaru Otaru is the seemingly unremarkable hero of the show. He used to be a normal boy living in Japones until he met Lime in the Japones History Museum. The only (and most important) unique quality of Otaru seems to be that he treats marionettes just like other human beings, which is probably why he was chosen to guide Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry...
Hanagata Mitsuru The self-proclaimed omake (extra) of the show ^_^ He's Otaru's rich and spoiled friend (and later neighbor), and has a crush on Otaru (no, it's not unusual for men to like other men in Terra 2 because there are no real women around). Hanagata is the one who's always taking the beating, from foes and friends alike ^_^
Tamasaburou One of the two regal royal guard marionettes in Japones, responsible for internal security. Superior combat abilities. Though Tamasaburou and Baikou do not possess the otome kairo, they do behave like real women, just very cool ones ^_^
Baikou Same description as Tamasaburou. In fact I don't know of any difference between Baikou and Tamasaburou except their looks, because they always act in unison ^_^
Faust The ambitious ruler of Germania, who wants to conquer the other city states of Terra 2. Faust used to be a gentle boy when he's still small but his father brainwashed him so that he can be a strong and ruthless ruler like himself. There's a secret motive behind Faust's ambition however...
Tiger One of the three cat-name-bearing otome-kairo-equipped Saber Dolls owned by Faust (actually they're named after German tanks in WWII, which were in turn named after big cats ^_^). The Saber Dolls aren't really bad by their own choosing, but only through obedience to Faust. Rather sad characters really...
Panther Another of Faust's Saber Dolls.
Lynx Yet another of Faust's Saber Dolls. ("Lynx" in German is "Luchs")
Lorelei Female scientist onboard the Mesopotamia. She's in a sense the heart of the otome kairo...
Obiichi Kenobi Otaru's kenpou instructor. Is it just me who thinks that his name is a pun of "Obi wan Kenobi"? ^_^ Actually his given name in kanji is normally pronounced "akubi" and means "yawning" ^_^
Tokugawa Ieyasu 15th shougun of Japones. The kind and gentle ruler of Japones.
