1 ライム登場！オトコだけの惑星 Introduction of Otaru, as a hard-working boy who doesn't treat marionettes like dirt or toys. While Otaru's being bullied by the filthily rich and spoiled Hanagata, he stumbles upon the old Japones History Museum. Quite by accident (but not entirely), he discovers and activates Lime, who instantly surprises him by coming to life like no marionette would... Thus begins Otaru's excellent adventure ^_^

3 ジャポネス城で大騒動！？ After wreaking major havoc in the Japones royal palace ^_^ Otaru and Lime meet Ieyasu, ruler of Japones. In the midst of their conversation Panther, one of Faust's Saber Dolls, appears and wreaks further havoc. Quite accidentally (but again not entirely), Otaru wakes up "the Goddess in the Bathroom" (Cherry i.e. ^_^), who chases Panther away and follows Otaru home.

4 チェリーパニック　ロマンス大作戦！！ Cherry's in major love-sick mode ^_^ and wonders how she may win Otaru's heart... A gang of thuds tries to bully Cherry but Cherry beats them into submission and asks them to stage her kidnapping so Otaru will come save her and they will live happily ever after... Of course it doesn't turn out exactly the way she expected ^_^

5 ファウストの挑戦！！ First direct challenge from Faust and his Saber Dolls. To save the day, Otaru activates Bloodberry, who seems to have unlimited combat power and easily scares the Saber Dolls away. Thus Otaru's stuck with three marionettes ^_^

6 熱烈不歓迎！　空飛ぶラブアタック！ To get Otaru to marry her and do the thing ^_^ Bloodberry constructed two flying machines and goes flying with Otaru... right into a plasma cloud. After crash-landing in the forest, Bloodberry tries to make up by offering Otaru a nice meal of little P-chan (sorry forgot its name ^_^) Of course P-chan's mom (who's not at the least little) isn't happy about it ^_^

8 恋占いバトルロイヤル！！ To earn money, Otaru and his marionettes work in a horror house. Lime is kidnapped accidentally by a gang of marionette-collectors, who had intended to take Cherry instead. They want Otaru to bring Cherry to them in exchange for Lime. Otaru goes alone by himself instead to rescue Lime...

Love Fortune-Telling Battle Royal!!

9 ガルトラント、みんなでいけばこわくない！！ The ambitious Faust invaded Japones' neighboring state and is planning to take Japones next. Otaru is told to sneak into Gartland to sabotage Gartland's main computer. Lime is afraid that Otaru would be hurt so she goes ahead alone to talk to Faust. Meanwhile the Saber Dolls are preparing an ambush in the underground tunnels. Lime is caught by surprise when Otaru appears with Cherry and Bloodberry. Somehow Otaru's marionettes couldn't hold off the Saber Dolls, but fortunately Lime brought along her "little friend" who saves the day by scaring everybody half to death (including Cherry and Bloodberry ^_^)

Gartland, There's Nothing to Fear if We Go Together!!

10 潜入！！　黒き帝国 Otaru and company arrives in Gartland and are appalled by the suppression and living condition of the citizens of Gartland. They try to help the people by upseting the automated food rationing system, and made some friends along the way. Unfortunately their plan to sabotage Gartland's main computer is thwarted by Tiger when she disarmed all the bombs they planted. While making their escape, Otaru and company are stopped and surrounded by Saber Dolls...

Infiltrate!! The Black Kingdom

11 乙女回路で大勝利！？ Otaru and company escaped from the Saber Dolls through the help of some kind Gartland citizens. They ask the visitors to help them destroy the main computer so they can raid the food storage facilities. In return they'll supply Otaru with bombs and info. Otaru accepted but in the end manages to disable the main computer without bombs... ^_^;

12 ファーストキスはプラズマの味！？ Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry (and Hanagata) are feeling majorly jealous because Otaru kissed Tiger (or was it Lynx) while trying to destroy the main computer. While they're returning to Japones through the underground tunnels, they stumble upon the abandoned hot spring resort and decide to take a break. The marionettes all fell ill because of the plasma energy near the resort. Otaru (and a reluctant Hanagata) has to fight the plasma storm to save the girls. Contains insert song enrai (Distant Thunder). Rather moving episode.

My First Kiss Tastes Like Plasma!?

13 小樽デビュー！！　今君が輝く時！！ Otaru and his marionettes are welcomed back in Japones as national heroes. Otaru is blinded by fame and accepts an offer to be a celebrity star. Poor Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry are being neglected as Otaru's busy with his various engagements. At the end they decide that Otaru doesn't need them anymore and there's no more reason for them to exist... Another rather moving episode ^_^

14 迎春！！　小樽杯マリオネットコンテスト！！ Rather silly episode about a marionette contest where Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry compete for Otaru's heart, while the Saber Dolls in disguise do the same. Very silly (even embarassingly so) gags.

15 女性復活！？　ローレライの謎 Otaru decides to have a sukiyaki fest with his marionettes. While they're shopping for ingredients, a puppy runs out of the street in front of them and is about to be ran over by a truck. Much to Otaru's surprise and anger, none of his marionettes does anything but stand there holding on to the sukiyaki ingredients, so Otaru jumps out and saves the puppy by himself. In the history museum, Ieyasu explains to Otaru that his marionettes are like real girls and their emotions evolve as they learn through Otaru's guidance. When the evolution is complete the ultimate goal of their existence will be fulfulled... Meanwhile the Saber Dolls set off explosive around the museum. Otaru and Ieyasu barely made it out alive with the help of Otaru's marionettes, but Ieyasu wants to go back to save the painting of Lorelei because it means a lot to him. Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry learned their lesson and volunteer to save the painting for Ieyasu. Though they failed to rescue the painting, Ieyasu thanks them and says that he has gained three much more important treasures... Contains one of the most moving moments in the show with the great BGM iza! junjou ni, jinjou ni playing in the background.

16 いきものってなあに？ Lime adopted a squirrel (which she names "Risuo" (squirrel) because she can't think of another name ^_^) from a lumberjack and asks Otaru if she can keep it. Otaru says it's a great responsibility taking care of a living thing, which Lime doesn't completely understand but she insists anyway. Lime has a fun time with Risuo until it started trashing things in the house and made everybody mad. Otaru says Risuo has to go but Lime hides it instead. Perhaps due to the confinement, Risuo fell very ill and Lime and Otaru try desperately to find a doctor to heal it, with Lime learning a very important lesson on the way... Another very moving episode featuring a marionette and a squirrel ^_^

17 やさしさと切なさと女らしさと Otaru and his marionettes leave Japones to investigate unusual earthquakes caused apparently by a huge underground object. This turns out to be a trap by Faust, who sent his desperately loyal Saber Dolls to assassinate Ieyasu while Otaru and his marionettes are gone...

18 城塞変形！！　立てジャポネスガー！！ Otaru and company were too late in saving Ieyasu... Meanwhile Faust's giant sphere-like plasma-absorbing weapon attacks Japones, causing large-scale chaos and panic. Otaru wants to fight it alone but meets the retreating Saber Dolls instead. At the critical moment Lime and others arrive but due to the plasma discharge, neither they nor the Saber Dolls can function properly. The Saber Dolls won't give up because of their fierce loyalty to Faust. This time it's the new and improved Baikou and Tamasaburou who come to their rescue. Under B&T's instruction, Otaru and his marionettes return to Japones royal palace to activate the secret weapon... Contains insert song "Don't Waste Your Love"

The Castle Transforms!! Stand Up Japones!!

19 ティーゲル、愛の果てに・・・！！ The Saber Dolls were defeated and returns to an outraged Faust, who says he'll abandone them unless they can get the otome kairo from Otaru's marionettes. As they cannot live without Faust's love, they set off for their desperate mission even while carrying the unhealed wounds from the last battle. They and Otaru's marionettes have their fateful encounter in the burnt-down Japones History Museum, where Tiger will make the ultimate sacrifice for Love and Loyalty... Very sad episode that makes one really feel for the poor Saber Dolls... (The opening song changes to the TYPE II one in and after this episode)

20 おもいはてなく　こころはるかに Lime was traumatized by Tiger's death and ran away. When Otaru found her, someone had taken her otome kairo, leaving behind an empty marionette shell. Otaru and others try desperately to look for the missing otome kairo but it was taken by Lubence, the shadowy subordinate of Faust's... Meanwhile Lime has to resolve her own internal conflicts within the otome kairo, with the help of Lorelei...

Feelings Will not Die, Though the Heart is Far Away

21 闇と光のバーベキュー大会 Otaru's neighbors arranged a picnic to celebrate Lime's return. Because they forgot to bring plates, Otaru goes off alone to a nearby pottery factory, but something detained him while he's there. Poor Lime is worried about Otaru and thinks he's angry with her... Meanwhile Faust plans another invasion of Japones and this time he made a monster marionette which he calls "Leopard". His plan is to take the otome kairo from Otaru's marionettes...

22 天空翔る想い While in the middle of a happy family meal, ^_^ Otaru is visited by Baikou who says Otaru and his marionettes are wanted in the royal palace. Turns out the leaders of Terra 2 want Otaru to assasinate Faust... Suddenly Leopard appears and gives everybody a hard time. Just when it seems all's lost, Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry's otome kairo reacted in sync.... This awakened Mesopotamia which starts attacking Terra 2 indiscriminately...

Thoughts of Flying in the Sky

23 ファウスト、歪んだ純心 Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry had a hard time holding off Leopard. First Cherry's and then Bloodberry's otome kairo were taken by Leopard, but Lime and Otaru manage to retrieve the otome kairo and put them back into Cherry and Bloodberry, whereupon the three girls synchronized their otome kairo (which finally reached their full potential) and defeated Leopard. Meanwhile Mesopotamia continues bombarding Terra 2, causing an uprising in Gartland where people overthrow the government... Faust, thus defeated, has no desire to live on, but Panther and Lynx appear just when Mesopotamia is about to deal the final blow...

24 乙女たちの旅立ち As everybody took refuge underground from Mesopotamia's attack, Faust and Ieyasu (in the form of Tamasaburo) finally reveal the secret of Mesopotamia, Lorelei and the otome kairo... To save Terra 2, Otaru and his marionettes have to make the ultimate decision...
[The ending of this episode is very moving with the song izayoi playing in the background.]

[This is a decent epsiode to end a wonderful series, though I think it's not really fair to Lorelei... and the ending could have been done alternatively IMHO... but guess they have to end it this way to make way for the upcoming OVA series ^_^]

[This is a decent epsiode to end a wonderful series, though I think it's not really fair to Lorelei... and the ending could have been done alternatively IMHO... but guess they have to end it this way to make way for the upcoming OVA series ^_^] [Notice Otaru's dream in this episode and compare it with his dream in the first episode. Donno if any deep meaning is intended though ^_^]
