Shin Kidousenki Gundam Wing
I've only seen this Gundam series and Gundam X, so I'm not really familiar with the Gundam universe. However, I do like the Gundam pilots Heero Yuy, Duo Maxwell, and Trowa Barton. To an extent, they seem to have stereotypical personalities, but they're interesting stereotypical personalities, especially in the case of Trowa. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of reading the parodies of Gundam Wing in Pocke Comics before watching the TV series, which made the whole thing kind of depressing, but I still recommend both. I think the plot is very confusing and strange, but I have included sites that have helped along with what I have found out about the series so far. Some of the links are in Japanese, so use the Shodouka link if you want to see them with Japanese characters.
