This section of the End of Innocence is devoted to the living GOD of a man that is Kunihiko Ikuhara. ^_^ His crazy and beautiful concepts, psychotic directorial sense, and burgeoning modeling career make him Our Favorite Person!
1998 has been a big year for Ikuhara-sama- he just turned 35, Utena has won critical and fan acclaim, proving his vision valid... now, 1999 looks to be even bigger, as he's working on a collaboration with Mamoru Nagano right now! The Utena movie will be coming out this summer, just adding more fuel to the fire- 99 will be the Year of Ikuhara! (Of course, every year is Ikuhara's year...)
