Chapter One: Buried Passions

Utena begins to notice that Anshi has weakened, spiritually and
physically... poisoned by Kisei, there's nothing left for a miserable
Utena to do but speed up Anshi's death, to pave way for resurrection.
Alone, Utena does some soul-searching. A couple of new enemies appear
as well..

Utena and Anshi's relationship is threatened again, this time when it's
Utena that's abducted by a mysterious ashen woman. Their only hope is,
unusually, Akio, who must travel across time to find the Anshi of the
Dramatic duel to save Utena's life... And even though they succeed,
Utena and Anshi must be parted again...

Utena, alone again, is made aware of a dark aspect of her personality
after a conversation with the unusual Mazoku (and new Hellmaster)
Francois. She struggles to come to terms with it, while also searching
for a way to try and save her friend...finding a way ultimately, but
having to sacrifice something intrinsic to herself. Meanwhile, old and
buried feelings are coming back to the surface with her continuing
self-examination...
Conclusion: The Curtain Falls on the Great Shadow Play

Utena and Xelloss part, and Utena returns to Anshi's side... finally
laying bare the pain she's hiding in her heart. Anshi takes control of the
situation, and leads Utena to the Castle, to confront the Rose Bride for
the last time...
