Utena . o O ( Haven't been HERE in a while... )

Canal is idly sitting at the table, resting her chin in one hand, staring
at the bracelet on her left wrist while thinking...

Utena steps through the door and strides in, stifling a yawn. Xel keeps
her up too late. n.n; Oh, hey...

Utena says, "Canal! Hi..."

Canal looks up at Utena, breaking out of her thoughts. "Hi! How're you
doing?"

Canal stands up slowly, to smile and greet her.

Utena grins. "Oh, same as usual. Dangerous quests to save the world while
no one else is looking." She waves her hands gently. "Sit, be
comfortable..." A little embarrassed someone would stand up for her...
smiling though, as she flags down one of ye wenches to get herself some
brandy.

Canal sits back down and rests her head on her arms again - she looks
really tired... did she really sleep last night?

Utena notices, and takes a chair at the table you're at, peering at you
curiously for a few moments. "You look exhausted."

Canal says, "I am." She sighs, looking up at Utena, the look in her violet
eyes show it even more. "I couldn't sleep last night..."

Utena hms... and links her fingers together over the table, gazing aside a
moment. "I know we sort of promised not to get into each other's business
but..." Looks back to you, compassionately. "Do you want to talk about
it?"

Canal nods...

Canal says, "You might even be able to help, since you and Xelloss seem to
work together a lot...." She then sits up, taking a deep breath... "Well,
Xelloss had us go to a strange city last night... To recover some
'artifacts' - though we had no clue what they were..."

Utena nods too, and picks up the brandy glass when it's brought to her,
just a slight sip before she sets it down and hms... her expression
darkening vaguely. She listens. "Go on." Her voice soft and restrained, as
if she's holding herself from saying something.

Canal shifts positions, getting somewhat more comfortable. "Well... The
city was definately strange... There was no real change in it. I even
tested the people's reactions to see how they could handle even smaller
breaks from the norm..."

Utena asks in a quiet voice, "Where was the city he sent you to?"

Canal says, "Lina and I kind of figured that this was due to Order,
because of what we were told by Xelloss."

Canal says, "Breen."

Utena flinches.

Lina_Inverse has arrived.

Utena takes a LARGER drink from her glass and sighs. "Remind me to smack
Xelloss for that one. He should have known better than to send you guys."

Canal says, "Ummm..."

Utena says, "Into Breen, anyway."

Canal says, "Actually... I think we got something, if not any 'artifacts'
while we were there..."

Utena looks unhappy now, and shakes her head. "I didn't want anyone else
getting dragged into this craziness.."

Lina wanders back into the bar with a broad smile and.. ^_^ her armor back
again...She blinks on hearing Utena's words," Hey! Well..it woulda helped
if were were given specifics... As for being dragged.. ^_^ we weren't! We
volunteered/"

Utena gazes over to Lina and smiles wryly. "Right. ^_^" she waves. "Might
as well come over, since you were in on this too." And then gets a bit of
her serious expression back. "So you went to Breen, and something
happened.." Wanting Canal to pick up the thread of the story.

Canal says, "I figured that following the crowd and everything would help
us... It would only take us a lot longer..."

Lina walks over to the table,pulling out a chair and joining in on the
recount.

Utena mmhmms, thoughtful.

Canal says, "So... I figured... Maybe getting captured would help us..."

Utena nods. "I would probably have done the same. Or stolen a uniform and
tried to find Trevor's room." A wry half-laugh.

Canal says, "I was thinking, 'hey... we're working for chaos... so if we
create chaos in a place of order, we might have luck' or something like
that."

Canal asks, "Trevor?"

Lina blinks at the name as well.. o.o;

Utena shudders faintly. "The master of Breen. A very educated gentleman
who's very much Order's new toy and pawn."

Lina mumbles," That bit of information woulda served us a little better
last night -.-;"

Utena nods to Lina. "I'll give Xel an earful."

Lina smirks , liking the way Utena thinks!

Utena says, "Anyway, you guys went chaos on Breen... so, you got caught,
didn't you? Breen's very .. efficient."

Canal says, "Anyway, though... We got captured - after completely and
absolutely breaking the norm in a restaraunt - and tried and thrown into a
mental institute."

Utena winces.

Lina says, "Little padded cell and everything -.-;"

Canal blinks, and forgot to mention something... Of course, she didn't
want to remember it either.

Canal says, "We were also bound by a leash of 'order' I guess you can call
it..."

Utena draws from her brandy glass and her fingers, very subtly, become
WHITE around the knuckles.

Lina grimaces at the memory of the blasted leash again.

Utena sighs. "Force lariat. Dammit."

Utena . o O ( I can't BELIEVE I walked right into that one... )

Canal says, "But..." she smiles. "Lina broke it after managing to get her
power back - though I still don't know how."

Canal suddenly frowns though. "But that's when we had an actual encounter
with Order itself..."

Canal slowly becomes silent here...

Utena says, "Application of chaos, I'm thinking. A strong enough chaos
will disrupt a flow of order like that..." She gives pause, and her eyes
widen in surprise. "... wait.. OUTSIDE of the world of dreams..?"

Canal looks down, then stands up quickly to get a cup of tea at the bar.
Apparently, something that happened during that is what's bothering her.

Utena brushes her hand over her face quickly. . o O ( SHIT. If Order's
moving on the real world now... no... maybe it's only because he controls
Breen.... )

Canal left Lina with Utena - if she's still curious, Lina has every right
to finish. ^_^

Utena looks over to the other girl. "Did he say anything particularly that
you can remember...?"

Canal is at the bar, fumbling with the tea cups and a bag of tea...
Something is really bothering her... Even moreso than last night -
probably because she may have spent all night thinking about it.

Lina moves her eyes to Canal knowing full well what was bothering
her...she looks to Utena, " Yeah, actually......He said a
mouthfull....most importantly he kept babling on about some Altar of
Order....and what more.." she pauses a moment, glancing at Canal once more
before completing the sentance.." He kept referring to Canal as
Volfied..."

Utena says, "...."

Utena asks, "Altar of Order...?"

Lina shrugs," You're guess is as good as mine. He said he would assemble
the Altar of Order and enslave our Chaos Lord...."

Utena has quite an interesting reaction. She SMACKS her hand into her
forehead and moans softly. "... OF COURSE."

Utena says, "Dammit. I have to get to Darata and Evilania FAST."

Canal slowly is walking back to the table, carrying the cup of tea in her
hands.

Lina blinks suddenly looking up, " Eh.....ah, what is it?!"

Utena sighs. "I'm sorry that you both had to have trouble over this. But
now I think I know what's going on...."

Canal sits down, only staring into the brown liquid...

Lina shakes her , " Nevermind the apologies, explain."

Canal speaks up quietly... "lina-san..."

Utena eeegs and is shaken a bit. ooo.OOO

Canal asks, "Before we finish... Can I ask you something...?"

Utena pauses, looking at Canal.

Canal sits up and looks at Lina.

Canal asks, "Your idea was that I was linked with Volfied, right?"

Canal asks, "If I am only linked... Then why did he actually address me as
that?"

Lina blinks and arches an eyebrow , " What are you trying to say?" she
askes, knowing FULL well what she's getting at.

Utena settles back in her chair, and watches Canal pass out suddenly into
the table. "... Must have been more tired than she even said."

Lina blinks in surprise and looks back to Utena," Well, this whole thing
HAS been a little on the draining side for her...c.c;;;;"

Utena looks over to you and shakes her head. "So.. what's a 'volfied'?"

Lina FACEFAULTS into the table

Lina exclaims, "You mean you don't KNOW?!"

Utena blinkblinks. "What? I've never heard the name before." She waves her
hands defensively o.O

Lina c.c; sweatdrops and decides she'll explain this in the condensed
Gourry version , being a little on the tired side herself. " Ok, I'll put
it to you this way....As Cefied is to Shabranigdu...Volfied is to Dark
Star.."

Utena winces.

Lina nods, " Exactly."

Utena looks toward Canal, silent for a few moments. "... Now I
understand."

Utena shakes her head. "This is BAD. Potentially very, very bad."

Lina says, "My theory was that she and her bracelet were somehow linked to
Volfied.....unless of course.....well..unless of course she actually WAS
Volfied...although that sounds a little far fetched to me....although it
might also explain things....Were you aware that there was another of
these ..well a ring actually but we think that IT may have the power of
Dark Star.."

Utena . o O ( I wonder if that bracelet of hers is part of Order's
altar.." )"

Lina scratchers her head a sighs a little, trying to organize her rather
jumbled thoughts...

Lina looks to Utena, " Maybe you can fill in the gaps for me. Like, what
is this Altar Order kept referring to?"

Utena shakes her head. "I don't know.... I'm still racing Order for this
one." She settles back, finishing the last of her brandy with a miserable
expression. "... The fact that Order appeared in the real world, and not
just the world of Dreams, makes me very, very nervous. The fact that
Breen's army under Trevor is full of human beings devoted to Order makes
me very nervous..." She inhales. "That's a..." Stifles herself. . o O (
Now I know WHY you say that, Xel. ) "... Uhm... okay. I guess I can say
that."

Utena says, "I don't know all of it. But you yourself said that Order
said... it's designed to enslave the Lord of Nightmares. I know where some
of the pieces of it are. Order doesn't seem to know all of the pieces
location YET."

Utena says, "If we want to prevent the end of the world, we find those
pieces of the altar before Chaos does and then make SURE he NEVER finds
them."

Lina ahh's! Suddenly understandiung it all! " So THAT'S What Xelloss has
us chasing after...I wish he woulda explained this sooner...then we'd have
a better idea of where to even start!"

Utena says, "I know two places."

Lina nods , thinking to herself that this all makes alot more sense now.
She blinks looking to Utena somewhat surprised, " You do?! Where?"

Utena says, "I already have one of the manacles safely hidden away. But I
think Order has a piece that they stole from the wingless. And they're on
the trail of another."

Lina nods," Actually, I recall Xelloss saying he thinks they have more of
the pieces than they are letting on...."

Utena hms.

Lina orders herself a nice cup of coffee, seeing as they will probably be
there a while. She leans back in her seat thoughtfully..Hrmm......But if
Canal was linked or even Volfied HERSELF then that would mean that she was
on the opposite side.....that would turn out to be very bad...as Utena had
commented.

Utena nods. "It could be. But..." She shudders, remembering the sensation
of that shackle around her wrist. "We already have at least one piece. And
without the whole thing, it doesn't WORK. The problem is... there's two
places we need to get at, and they both have to be gotten to QUICKLY.
Darata has one of the manacles, under the control of the wingless of
Reason. But there's something else I can't determine yet buried in a
dungeon in Evilania."

Utena says, "Another piece of the altar, I imagine."

Lina says, "Then ....we're in a race against time now. I don';t think we
should wait any longer. We need to get those pieces."

Utena sighs and looks at you. "I didn't want anyone else to be caught in
this. But I suppose it's too late now..." ]

Lina shakes her head, " Hey! There's no way I'm just gonna sit back and
let this kind of thing pass me by!! It's a very serious matter and I'm not
gonna twiddle my thumbs when I could be of some use instead!"

Lina smiles and winks! ^_- " This is the kinda thing I was BORN to do!"

Utena nods, laughing faintly, almost sadly. "I know. It's just that this
is really DANGEROUS. You don't want to know what's happened to me the last
three times I was facing Order. I died for the second time.. and he almost
BEAT me last time." She sighs. "And I'm the goddamn Knight of Chaos."

Lina blinks at the mention of her having died. Boy had she been left outta
the loop! She smiles once again, reassuringly!" WELL! ^_^ You don't have
to worry about that now! We've got your backup!"

Utena says, "The first time I ran into Trevor was a couple of nights ago..
before that, i was fighting Order himself..." she blinks and looks aside.
"... I.. guess. I can't do this all by myself."

Lina shakes her head," No, I wouldnt think so! Knight of Chaos or not,
Order is a bit more then a single person can handle. " she nods, " Well,
I've closed down my shop for the time being so I can devote my full
attention to this developement. Whenever you need me, I'l be ready to go
back in!"

Lina ^_^ grins and winks! ^_- " Ready to make a little chaos!"

Utena manages a sort of smile, and nods. "Okay. I'll smack my fiancee
around for putting you in danger to find this out, though..." She gazes at
her engagement ring. "He should know better than that by NOW."

Utena says, "Probably, it would be fastest to split into two groups. One
to go to Darata and one to go to Evilania. But I'm not sure.. I'll talk to
him about it."

Lina waves her hand, " Oh, if Xelloss wasn't constantly throwing me into
the fray... He just wouldn't be Xelloss....But I guess you could bap him
one for me ,anyway ^_-"

Lina nods in agreement . " I agree. I think the quickest possible solution
is the best, in this case."

Utena mmhmms. "The question is..." she glances to sleeping Canal. "Do we
involve her or not?"

Utena says, "Order hasn't made any obvious move toward her that I can
tell... he's busy with Trevor."

Lina moves her eyes to the sleeping Canal. " Hrm....I'm not too
sure....Seems a little risky, especially if what we're speculating turns
out to be true!"

Lina exclaims, "On the other hand, she's a powerfull ally!"

Utena closes her eyes a moment. "... But then, she might feel hurt, and
left out, and become more VULNERABLE to Order that way. He's extremely
good at manipulating whatever you feel inside. He's done it to ME enough
times. And it wouldn't suit the dramatic arc of this to not involve her.
Additionally, as you say, she's a powerful ally. I might keep her close to
me, in case Order does try something... hmm."

Lina says, "In that case, thinking it over, we'd be alot safer keeping her
within our sites than not." she rubs her chin thoughtfully, " Things get
more complicated by the minute."

Utena says, "As long as we keep it chaotic... we'll win. ^_-"

Lina grins broadly," OH I think I may just be able to handle THAT!" she
laughs.

Utena laughs too. "Okay, so we have a plan. Sort of. As much as a plan as
people like us can come up with before something changes." She holds out
her hand to you. "Business partners?"

Lina takes Utena's hand firmly and shakes it with a smile, " Partners!"

Utena grins. "Okay. So... dammit, I'm starving..." She fishes out a gold
coin or two. Being able to tap into the Lord's treasury is a GOOD thing.
"Hungry?"

Lina smiles a little too broadly, better have alot of golf on ya! She pats
her stomach " STARVED!"

Hey, gonna ask about the male Utena you met at her house? ^_-

Oh hell yeah! what better lunch conversation IS there!?

Utena gets up and walks over to the bar, and slaps the coins down.
Shortly, after she returns to the table, MUCH FOOD begins to arrive. In
flowing streams of plates and dishes, like a river.

Lina *_* beams, loosing her nice calmn demenour she ha all of 5 seconds
ago! Oh no! She wastes no time in arming herself with a fork and knife and
attacking the first thing that get's in within arm's reach! " AAAH! YATTA!
*_*"

Utena eats a lot less. But still a fair amount, slicing up chicken breast
and drinking a fair amount of tea. She hasn't been eating a lot of REAL
food lately, and her body could use it.

Lina stuffs a ,WAY to big, piece of roast into her mouth and somehow
manages to force it down with the help of an equally large gulp of ale!
*_* She reaches across the table , stabbing her fork into the nearest
piece of fish, while stuffing a roll of bread in her mouth! She looks to
Utena, her cheeks filled to the brim like a chipmunk, noting her approval
with an enthusiastic THUMBS UP!  *_* d

Utena giggles softly, some color back in her face. After a while, when
she's full, she just watches Lina wondering how she can scarf all that
without even stopping for breath...

Lina hasn't stopped at all!! Although there aren't many plates left,
Lina's velocity hasn;t dwindled in the least! She now resorts to pulling
up whole plates and simply shoveling in the food at light speed into her
mouth. Yes, Lina is an eating machine!*_*

Lina slams the , now empty, plate onto the table. That was the last of the
food, and what better way to to wash it all down than with another dose of
ale! She picks up her rather large tankard and gulps it all down at once!
She smiles , satisfies as she slams the tankard back down on the table,
causing the plates to jump up and land with a loud clatter! " AAAAAH!!!
THat was GREAT! *_*"

Utena chuckles, leaning back in her chair, nodding. "They don't make great
food here, but you can't argue with the amounts."

Lina leans back in her chair as well, streeeaching out before crossing her
arms behind her head, ' REALLY?! Compared to the food in Darra this is
fantastic!

Utena hehs. "I like Darra's food better, but.. neither of them really
compare to homecooked food." A wistful look. "I haven't been able to
-cook- anything in ages."

Lina blinks " Ne, you cook, huh?" She moves a moment to scratch her nose,
before returning to her relaxed position from before. " I'm not much of a
cook myself , actually, but I DEFINATELY appreciate a good meal!! *_*"

Utena grins softly. "Actually, yeah, though I haven't been able to in a
while, I love to cook. It was a hobby of mine... I had to learn, because I
was traveling around so much; that was one way I could earn my keep."

Utena says, "Cooking for large families and the like." She grins quietly.

Lina hrms, thinking a moment, " Yeah, actually one of the BEST meals I;ve
had since I got here was at that Sanctuary......WHICH REMINDS ME!!! " she
snaps her fingers " I've been meaning to ask you buuuuut...I saw a guy
there that looked exactly like you...o.o What is he a relative or
something?"

Utena blinks a little.. and then laughs... "Oh.... him." She giggles,
blushing softly. "It's kind of a long story. That's... me. But it's not
me."

Lina O.o;;;;; sweatdrops not exactly catching on to what she might mean by
that. .oO( Well what the hell is THAT supposed to mean?!) " Um, you wanna
run that by me again?"

Utena says, "Paradox, one of the other wingless, split me in half, into a
male me and a female me. The male me stays at the Sanctuary and takes care
of things there... and this me is engaged to Xelloss, and fights Order...
She shrugs wryly."

Lina o.o blinks staring almost a little blankly. I guess that made sense.
She nods, " Ah...I see...c.C; .oO( still wierd though)"

Lina clears her throat and asks , " Is um...HE the one that does the
cooking around there?"

Utena laughs. "Probably. Unless Himemiya's developed some very serious
need to play housewife, yeah."

Lina smiles broadly, " WELL! If he's anything like you then you MUST be a
great cook!! Oh that's it! Once you and Xelloss are married you'll have to
invite me to dinner...frequently!!!"

Utena sits back in her chair, looking up toward the ceiling. "It's weird
to think there's another me out there living a normal life... but it's a
little comforting, too. The only problem is.. if anything happens to him,
I die. And if I die, so does he. We're still one spirit." She giggles.
"Okay, it's a deal. I'm still trying to get Xel to relocate from the world
of Dreams though.. I'm going to have a real house if it kills me."

Lina o.O; " You mean he's been keeping you THERE The whole time?!"

Lina facepalms, " Oh brother! He's a real romantic lemme tell you.. -_-;"

Utena laughs. "He can be. But... We're both needed more in the world of
dreams. Until you just told me what you said earlier... Order only
attacked in Dream."

Utena says, "Maybe when this is over, we can settle down. I don't know."
She sighs. "Things tend to be... like, as soon as one problem stops
another starts.."

Lina nods " Oh, I know how that is. But let me tell you this...I openend
up my shop in Darra , settling down a bit for the time being and
found....that it only made me antsier. Believe it or not, when the action
is gone, you miss it....or maybe that's just me."

Utena laughs, blinking faintly. "It's not you. I'm like that too... I
think.. once you get used to fighting and danger, and saving the world..
it's almost addictive. You can't really easily just.. stop."

Utena giggles. "Fortunately, there's always sex to pass the time." She
laughs to herself.

Lina nods , " Exactly why I jumped on the opportunity to help out when I
could. As I see it, sittinmg in Darra waiting for customers is a waste of
my unique talen----" she ERKS and FACEFAULTS right into the table on
hearing Utena's words!

Lina *C_C* " Now THAT is something I didn't need to know!"

Lina . o O ( X_X NOW I'm gonna have to fight off that horrible image from
my mind...aaah..I may never sleep again! )

Utena giggles brightly.

Utena says, "Sorry. ^_^ We have a grownup relationship, Xel and I."

Utena says, "That's -why- we're engaged now. ^_^;"

Lina-_- continues to sweatdrop. " I sorta gathered that ..."

Lina is still a little on the immature side when it comes to love and
intimacy! It's alot easier to be pridefull and stubborn!

Utena waves her hands airily, grinning. "I suppose each to their own. But
I'm happy this way. And the other me's, the male me, is happy with his
wife... so it just works out best all the way around, I suppose. As long
as I don't get myself killed."

Lina grimaces slightly at those words! She looks to Utena, " Well then ^_^
Just DON'T get yourself killed!" It sounds like she's just being silly but
, truthfully that is Lina's motto of living in a sense. If you want to
survive then... ^_^ DON'T ALLOW for yourself to be killed.

Utena nods. "Believe me, I don't intend to. He almost got me once, and I
DON'T want it to happen again." She grins to you. "But, don't you have any
one that you feel warmly for? Or is it enough just to go out and face
danger and adventure?"

Lina blinks O.O EH?! What was she saying? Hey now! That was girl talk! She
generally avoided frilly stuff like that....but then...why was there a
faint blush crossing over her face? Well in utter deinal, true to her
character Lina turns up her nose , " FEH! Me?! Please don't be ridiculous!
*C.C* I..uh..don't have time for that sorta thing"

Utena mm-hmm's softly, grinning to herself as she crosses her arms over
her chest. "I used to be like that too. Too obsessed with my goal, too
needful of finding something that turned out to be really nothing like
what I truly wanted. And not even noticing that the things I really wanted
were right there next to me." She shakes her head wryly. "It took me
almost.... well, months and months, before I realized I really was in love
with Xel."

Lina blinks O.O What was THAT supposed to mean? What was she trying to
say. She wasn't really sure but...she simply clears her throat and goes
bacxk to her denial, " Ah, well that's you I guess..ME.. I'm perfectly
happy on my own! ^^"

Utena rubs her chin. "Maybe you're just too young to realize it." Right,
this from someone who's all of.. 16? But her life's been really hard on
her, and that tends to age you beyond your years...

Utena grins anyway, a secretive sort of smile as if she knows something
you don't. Very Xelloss.

Xelloss ^_^

Xelloss exclaims, "HELLO!"

Utena laughs. "Speak of the devil.." She stands up and hugs her fiancee
warmly. And then BAPS his arm. "Jerk."

Lina blinks and protests, " NO! It's nothing like that! It's just that
I---" but she never finishes as Xelloss' boisterous hello startles her "
Eh."

Xelloss eeps. o.o "What'd I do now?"

Lina ^_^; snickers.

Utena points at Lina and the sleeping-over-the-table Canal.

Utena says, "You endangered THEM.'"

Xelloss asks, "They wanted me to. n.n; Ne, Lina, didn't you say you were
bored?" 

Utena asks, "To BREEN, Xel?"

Utena-.-

Lina ^_^; ehe's and sorta rubs the back of her neck , suddenly feeling on
the spot all opf a sudden, " Well, I coulda used a clearer explanation of
our goals...really but..that;'s ok! It's no big deal..honest!"

Utena crosses her arms over her chest, clearly UNpleased. "Did you know
ORDER showed up in the REAL WORLD while they were there? -.-"

Xelloss says, "Um.. no, I did not know that. ^_^;; Well, I figured it was
an easy mission.. go find out if they have more pieces. Recon. That's all.
o.o;"

Lina erks and just sits there quietly for once, letting Utena do all the
talking.

Utena says, "Apparently Order shook their worlds up. But at least now
thanks to that, good or bad, we know what he's after."

Xelloss asks, "We do?"

Xelloss looks at Lina. o.o Apparently this is more results than he was
expecting..

Utena sits back down again, rubbing at the back of her neck with a sigh.
"The altar of Order... now we know what that damn manacle was part of."

Lina nods in agreement. ^_^;;

Xelloss scratches his head in confusion. "Eh?"

Utena says, "Once Canal wakes up, we need to split our forces and hit
Evilania and Darata to retrieve those pieces as fast as we can.."

Lina nods again then adds, " Ne, Utena, fill him in on the whole
Canal/Volfied thing."

Xelloss hms. "I'd say.... Canal and Utena to Evilania and Lina to Darata.
Canal's more level headed, and... eh?"

Lina says, "Order kept referring to Canal as Volfied."

Utena-sighs-. Does she have to explain everything three or four times
today? "Xelloss... that manacle we have is part of a larger object
apparently called the altar of Order. With it, Order can bind the Lord of
Nightmares... so we have to stop him from getting the pieces." She nods.
"Canal's freaking out, and hasn't slept since he told her that,
apparently."

Xelloss's world starts to teeter over the edge. o.O "Volfied?!"

Xelloss says, "I can see why. O.O"

Utena says, "If Volfied is analogous to Ceipheed as Lina told me.. we
-could- have a problem." She nods grimly. "That's why I want to keep Canal
in our sight."

Lina nods and sighs somewhat, running her hand through her frazzled bangs,
" Ah, look guys, I hate to eat and run buuut...before we go on our next

waves out walks out" JA!!"

Utena says, "We'll be in touch!" She waves goodbye to the sorceress.

Lina_Inverse exits the tavern, and goes out to the street.

Xelloss says, "...good to see you two being friendly. n.n;"

"We shook hands on it. As she said herself," Utena shrugs faintly, "It's
too much for one person. And Order's too strong for me to take on alone."

Link blinks.  "Um, mind if I ask what's going on?"

Utena uhms softly and smiles in a weak sort of manner. "That is a
secret... sorry."

Xelloss blink. o.o "Hey! That's my line!"

Utena glances to Xel. "And you're saying it's not appropriate?"

Xelloss says, "Um."

Utena nods quietly. "I thought as much." She leans forward along the
table, and brushes her fingers along Xel's forehead. "Hey... it's not that
bad. We're still ahead of the situation... I think."

Xelloss says, "I'm not too sure about that, Ut-chan." He looks around.
"Ne, let's get back to Ops."

Utena nods. "All right. I'm done here, anyway." She glances apologetically
at Link. "I'm really sorry. But there's too many people who know too much
already." Then she slips her arm into Xel's.
