And so, it begins...
Utena's armor has always represented her nobility and power in the context
of the series (remember the opening with the flying horses?). But now she
has been inverted and her armor destroyed... clearly in shock about it as
well. This image (which is the central image of the movie poster as well)
seems to say that we should expect what we know about Utena to be turned
on its head... that she will be (or has been?) destroyed... Combining
this with the title of Adolescence Mokushiroku, one must come to the
conclusion that some great and devastating event (possibly the end of
the series?) has broken Utena....
