" I feel like I have been running with all my power since I.G. was established. However, I am very happy that I could work on things I really believe in so much and in my own way, at my own pace. This is due in great part to the excellent staff - now over 120 - of Production I.G. and the ING group companies and I thank them very much for that.

Many people around the world paid us compliments on Ghost in the Shell., which was released as a feature film here in 1995. This film was created and supported by many people always striving to produce higher quality animation. Our continuing goal is to make more and more interesting and different visual experiences. We don't want to be hard-headed and locked-in like a typical Japanese company. We want to continually surprise anyone seeing our work (I'm also looking forward to working on the new visual comedy ideas that we have in mind.)

Please take a look at our work any chance you get. Let us know if we aren't doing the best possible job!"      ~ (February 1997)
