Introduction to Inuyasha
Unlike Sailormoon or Ranma Half, Inuyasha isn't a very well-known manga out of Japan (where it's very popular). So if you're here and very confused as to what Inuyasha even is, here is a very basic introduction into the series.
Inu-Yasha is Rumiko Takahashi's current work, which runs weekly in Japan in Shounen Sunday Magazine, in North America it's distributed in monthly english versions by Viz, and it's also being translated into a few other languages. An Anime is planned for October 2000.
This series follows Kagome, a 15 year old girl, and Inu-Yasha, a half demon, as they run around in feudal Japan searching for shards of the Shikon no Tama, a jewel that increases a demon's strength; as well as try and get rid of Naraku, a really evil demon. There are alot of complicated sub-plots in this story, all of which keep getting more complicated and start tying more and more into each other. The characters are often flat, but still amusing.
Inuyasha is definitely worth a look. But, if I didn't think so, I wouldn't have made this site...
