Part 2: A case of Animehem

The senshi made their way down to the ground floor of the building deciding to start their investigation from the bottom.

As the group emerged from the stairwell, their eyes met an overwhelming site. The entire first floor was decorated in japanese style, blasting with music and packed with people. Everywhere the group looked they were greeted with images of anything and everything to do with anime, along with eager fans mesmerized in their surroundings.

"This place is a zoo!" Manzer was the first among the otherwise speechless group to venture an opinion.

Breaking out of his own state of amazement, Warlock made light of the comment with his usual snarky reply. "Well, then _you_ should feel right at home, right Manzer?"

Sailor Pendula all but ignored the grumbling Manzer as all of her focus was being held by the captivating scenery. She did manage to hear Sailor Stardust's reply to the two male warriors' quarrel. "Now Warlock dear, stop teasing Manzer." Warlock rolled his eyes, Lunar face faulted and Sailor Orpheus laughed under her breath.

Sailor Pendula smiled at the incident, but her excitement could be held back no longer, she wanted to explore. "Perhaps we should split up." she exclaimed. "We'll cover more ground that way." Pendula held back her breath and waited for a response. *Boy, I hope they bought that one. I want to check out the manga art without them around*

The anxious senshi dreaded any of her fellow warriors finding out there was no truth to her story. Finally, Orpheus broke the silence with a reply. "Okay, let's break off in separate directions guys. We'll meet back here in two hours." Manzer looked at the crowd around them, and the he noticed a sign. "Perhaps we should register first?"

Warlock pulled out his wallet. "My treat kiddies." As Warlock sifted through his wallet, Pendula noticed the abundance of credit cards he had in his possession. She eyed the anime items around her and got a sudden gleam of sneakiness in her eye.

"Pendula Time Force Arrest!" she whispered.

Time ceased briefly and Pendula snatched three credit cards from Warlock's wallet. Time commenced almost as quickly as it had stopped and Warlock paid for six one day passes with no one being the wiser. With that the six warriors went their separate ways to investigate, but not before Pendula took aside Stardust and Orpheus.

"Here, you two! Might come in handy." Pendula handed the pair a credit card each and wearing a huge grin, followed the signs to the art room.

Stardust was making her way through the thick crowds when she wandered into what looked like the remains of a ballroom that had been drastically altered by decorations and merchandise. *This is so boring.* thought the female warrior. *I hate investigating alone. Wish I could have paired up with Warlock.*

The senshi must have been preoccupied for she passed by a table considered to be a shopper's paradise without flinching. Instead she pressed on in deep thought. *I don't see how the enemy could be planning to strike so far away from Tokyo. I wonder if Pendula was right in her hunch.* "Hello, what's this?"

Stardust looked up to see a tall figure near the door of the ballroom. The young man was graced with a badge indicating he was staff with the word "SECURITY" across it. The senshi's flirtatious nature emerged as she gave her new subject of interest the once over. *Nice. Bit rough around the edges, but definitely some possibilities there.* She finished her thought and walked over to where the man was standing. She read the badge on the man's chest and proceeded to address him by name.

"Ahem! Excuse me *Toad*, but I seem to have lost my way." Stardust changed to a sexy posture and batted her eyelashes when she noticed she had the young man's attention. Without an ounce of hesitation she continued. "I don't suppose a big strong man like yourself would mind escorting me to the ladies' room."

"Um, that's *Todd*! ...and the Ladies' room is..." The young man's reply was cut off by a female voice. "Todd, MOVE!!"

The commotion resulted in the man quickly taking two steps back to which Stardust replied by advancing towards him. She was not about to let him get away. The senshi's pursuit was cut short however, as she looked to her right to see someone speeding towards her. Failing to jump back in time, she acquired a sharp pain in her foot as it landed on the ground the wrong way, narrowly missing the speeding body.

"Ouch!" Puzzled and in pain, Stardust looked up to see what looked like the outer edge of a wheel disappearing behind the ballroom entrance. When she got up to face the young man again he was gone. "Geez, that smarts! What _was_ that? Oh great, the Hunkasaurus got away." Grumbling, the senshi continued on with a slight limp, reverting her focus back to the investigation.

Meanwhile, Lunar had wandered into another area filled with people dressed in strange, yet familiar garb. *I agree splitting up covers more ground,..* thought the warrior as he walked on. *...but we're in a foreign country this time. Good thing Gemmil and Mamoru drilled us to death in the english language before we left. Honestly, Gemmil's teaching method's sure are forceful. I don't know how the girls put up with him.*

The Moon Warrior stopped when he heard an all to familiar cry that made his stomach churn as if he was eating Tendo Akane-sann's cooking.

"Saotome, what have you done with my bride Shampoo?!!"

Lunar made a full turn and ran towards the voice. *Can't be.....Mousse???* He stopped dead in his tracks as he saw a group of people laughing, one of them dressed in a white robe and glasses. Lunar stared as the group's exchange of words only confused him further.

"Hey, _great_ impression of Mousse you did there" said one of them. Another spoke up in response. "Costume's not bad either." As the group left Lunar tried to collect himself. *Costume? What the..?*

Lunar regained his stance and was relaxed again. *Well at least it wasn't Mousse. That's _all_ I need!* With a heavy sigh of relief he pressed on in his previous direction.

Concentrating on nothing but looking for suspicious activity, Lunar blocked out most of his surroundings, including a sign on the wall to his right. It had a forward arrow and above was written the word "GAMING".

Pendula had reached the entrance to the art room and was now carrying at least two bags full of manga related items she had picked up along the way.

*Yes! Thank you Gemmil!* she thought as she eyed her purchases and entered the display area "At last, the art room. Now I can get some drawing tips from some of the artists here!" Pendula could barely contain herself, but did manage to pause long enough for a small thought to enter her mind. *I wonder how the others are doing...*
