Background: Chang is a character resulting from the crossover of two popular anime series. *so you may want to brush up on your "Ranma 1/2" before you read on**. Born in Central China, Chang is a decendant of the Delune family; allies to the chinese amazons and long time guardians of the Jusenkyo Springs. Chang begins his journey with a brief stop in Nerima befriending the Ranma crew and perfecting his Martial arts skills while he's there. He ends up in Juban purely by fluke on a beach outing with about half the gang from Nerima. As luck would have it he gets caught in the middle of a senshi vs. yoma battle and the rest as they say is history. After regaining his memory *with a little help* Chang discovers his background as the guardian of the Moon Kingdom, "Lunar"!!

His fighting style both as Chang and Lunar, is largely derived from his past and present experiences. A combination of both his upbringing in China and his memories of his role on the moon, each of Changs techniques is a unique result of extensive training. Here are some of Chang's attacks.

Delune Pressure Point Technique- The main technique used by the Delune Family, this move requires concentration with one's *chi* in order to achieve the desired effect and/or response. Various versions of this technique have been taught to the amazons over the years in exchange for training on some of their techniques. Shiatsu Sleep Spot- Originally stolen from the Delune familly by Happosai, the "sleep spot" is among other paralyzing point techniques mastered by the Delunes.

Bakusai Tenketsu (revised)- A more controlled version of the technique taught to Ryouga Hibiki by Cologne, *breaking point* this technique allows the attacker to control which direction the debris is flying. *preferably away from them* Chang will frequently be heard referring to this technique as the "Focused Breaking Point".

Xi Fa Xiang Gao (revised)- A less controlled version of the technique used by the amazons to manipulate memory *Shampoo used it on Akane once* A touch of the forehead can cause temperary amnesia ranging anywhere from an hour to a day.

Mana Flare- Chang's own specialized attack is the "Mana Flare". This attack requires concentrating the earth's energies *refered to as "mana"*, and through a powerful fingerstrike, using one's own *chi* to create a large erruption of pure energy.

Kachuu Tenshin Amaguriken- This is a technique that was taught to Chang's father by the amazons in trade for pressure points to speed up healing at the cost of exhaustion. Hence this technique was eventually passed on to Chang.

Delune Family Final Attack- This attack is revised and added to each time it is passed down to the next generation. The basic premise of this attack is to throw an uppercut designed to be blocked by the victim. This serves purely as a distraction as it is followed by a momentum strike bouncing the victim off the ground and sending them airborn. While in midair, the victim is exposed to several paralyzing strikes directed at the shoulder area. The attacker steps underneath the victim and initiates the Amaguriken technique followed by grabbing the victim by the foot and swinging them into anthying and everything around them. After several run ins with nearby hard objects, the victim is thrown away!

As Lunar, his attacks are based largely on magic and light energy. Lunar is considered one of the "unofficial" outer senshi and is able to combine attacks or "team up" with up to five allies at a time.

Moonbeam Boomerang- Lunar produces a golden glowing boomerang made purely of energy. He can produce only one at a time and can use them for throwing at the target or hold them for use as a sword.

Shining Moonbeam- Lunar emits a silvery beam of energy from the moon symbol on his palm. *yes, it's on his palm as opposed to his forehead** This beam is not unlike Sailor Venus' "Crecent Beam" put is mostly effective against dark magic or possessed targets.

Moon Guardian Hallation- This is a combination attack involving bringing forth the Moonbeam Boomerang, throwing it towards the target, and reinforcing the boomerang's strength with the use of the Shining moonbeam behind it. The combining of these two attacks doubles the power and impact of the blow.

Dual Moon Hallation- This is when Lunar combines his Moon Guardian Hallation attack with Sailor Moon's Princess Hallation attack.

*NOTE*** "chi"- - Also called *ki* or fighting spirit,
or (in the Ranma series) Battle-aura.
The power of the human spirit, intimately
related to life-force and emotions.
Some people have a natural "knack" for using their *chi*
certain ways. Put most simply, it's the spiritual energy
used by super-martial artists to power their attacks.
Lose *chi*, lose heart and lose life. It's that simple.
(Yes, this *would* mean that all the Yoma (etc. etc.)
that drained energy were sucking *chi* out of people.)
