Manzer is not a frequent character in the story arch, yet still plays a vital role. His first appearance is during the Ann and Ail story in R season, and he returns in late Super S.
Manzer is a dragon from an alternate reality. His homeworld is called Balus. Originally Manzer was part of a revolution against the planet's ruling empire. After the war Manzer ended up being the ruler of his world. During an assasination attempt by empire loyalists, Manzer was accidentally cast into another dimention eventually ending up in our own demention, more specifically in Tokyo.
Manzer is a valuable ally to the sailor senshi, but as a dragon, is quite noticable in his natural form. To get around this, he has the ability to take on a fully human form. While in Juban, Manzer stays at Grandpa Hino's temple. Manzer posesses no actual senshi powers though he has access to high tech weapons arsinal, breaths knock out gas *don't ask people* and is highly trained in combat skills and magic. Manzer also has a magic sense much like Rei's danger sense.
Love- Physically, Manzer is as attractive as Mamoru, yet when it comes to love, he is not always aware there is an attraction. In other words, he's dense! *sorry big guy* When Manzer first appears, Rei, Minako and Makoto are ALL fighting over him. Later on Manzer develops a relationship with one of the senshi, but we're not at liberty to say who.
Friendships- Manzer is pretty neutral with all of the senshi, but he does fashion a few friendships. He has a friendship with Rei since he lives at the dojo. Chang and he have a respect for each other as fellow martial artists, and he develops a friendship with Hikari in the fourth season. Manzer tends to not be on good terms with Gemmil for various reasons.
