Linna Yamazaki is the second oldest Knight Saber, two years younger than Sylia Stingray. She, like the others, was born near Tokyo, and is the only Knight Saber of pure Japanese descent, despite the fact that her eyes are blue. She is very attractive, a tall, thin, but not freakishly skinny woman. Her hair is black and must he pushed to the side with a headband to keep it from her eyes.

Linna was orphaned at the age of fifteen but managed to get small-time jobs to keep herself alive and away from the worst of what the streets had to offer. Even when she was working far harder than she had ever imagined, Linna kept up with her greatest passion: Dancing. At that she excelled, and for her abilities in that field she was recruited by Sylia as the Knight Sabers' melee expert.

Having been given the second most CC capable Hardsuit, Linna made her name among the four Knight Sabers by putting that armor to good use. She is fast, athletic, and always ready for a challenge. Linna is also a very good mecha pilot in and out of her Motoroid and is one of two Knight Sabers (Sylia and herself) with an MSX-01 Prototype Motoroid interface capability. Linna's computer skills, while nothing like Sylia's or even Nene's, are not terribly lacking. Her skills in combat, long range and close quarters, makes her a formidable foe.



Linna's personality is... personable. She is kind and willing to lend a hand where it's needed. Unlike Sylia, she is not obsessive about revenge (or as brutal in reaping it), unlike Priss she does not live to oppose the 'higher-ups,' and unlike Nene she is not constantly worrying about how to be good enough for the others. However, like Nene, Linna is a bit vain and doesn't try to hide it with false modesty. She had been accused of being shallow at times, but in all truthfulness, what is Linna is not the reflection of every 'normal' person? She is not violent, not hideously rebellious, and not abnormally cute or noble. She is, simply, normal.

Linna works as the happy medium for all sides of the Knight Sabers. She does very well in combat but is not brutal or violent like Sylia, enjoys parties and dancefloors but is not an 'animal' like Priss, is cute and smart but not horrendously innocent and naive like Nene. Linna would be the ideal woman save for the fact that she is less interested in world affairs and more interested in whether or not her car is functioning. She also has a habit of dumping boyfriends who do not meet her strict standards.

For all Linna's constant talk about men, there is a (somewhat unfounded) rumor that she might be a bisexual who had had a brief relationship with Priss. The idea of this came from a short scene in Blow Up during which Linna was shown reclining on her bed without her headband while Priss was washing dishes. How all this ties into homosexuality is beyond the Keeper of the Temple (in other words, me), but it is a rumor that floats around and pops up now and then.
