"Trust you?!" P-kun stood up and faced her, his face red with his rising rage. "Trust you?! TRUST YOU!!"
"P-kun, calm down. We're alive, right? And we're at the Mori, right?"
He threw up his hands in frustration, turned, and headed toward the Mori. He couldn't believe this. First, he gets an Otaku who can't say one sentence without insulting him. Second, this Otaku had strange dreams that turned his night into a living hell and she refused to discuss these said dreams with him… and Third, she almost killed him. She might not be able to die but he sure as hell could!
He gripped the cold handle of the Mori door and flung it open. Remy quietly followed behind him. He needed some time to get over this. It's not like she did it on purpose… He couldn't possibly blame her for what happened… It wasn't her fau-.
"Ohmygod. Ohmygod. Ohmygod!" She froze in shock.
"What is it now?" P-kun turned around, concerned about her sudden shock but still very peeved at the episode they had just walked away from. He followed her stare. Standing a few feet away was a silver-haired Gaurdian. Oh great, just great. What the heck was Artemis doing here? It wasn't every day that a member of the Council appeared during the game. What was going on?
Intending to find out just that, P-kun grabbed Remy's arm and dragged her towards the other Guardian. She wouldn't have moved otherwise… she couldn't. *That* was Artemis!! Minako's Guardian in one of Remy's most beloved anime series. She couldn't believe that he was here… she couldn't believe that he was real!
"Masaka…ne?" she whispered to herself, awed.
"Masaka… why…" a familiar voice echoed, Dionysus's voice. It pulled Remy back from her lethargic state, making her forget that Artemis was even there. She turned towards the voice and was shocked to find Dionysus curled up in a fetal position.
"Doshita no?" She asked as she slid to the ground besides him. He didn't move. He didn't finch. All he could do is murmur "masaka" over and over and over again in a steady rhythm. Remy looked up towards P-kun and Artemis. "What happened?" she asked, inclining her head in Artemis' direction.
He shrugged, unsure if he should tell her or not.
Remy felt his uncertainty and knew that there was something shared between the two Guardians. He wasn't going to tell her a thing… not without Dionysus' permission. *Oh well* Remy sighed. She had other ways of finding out. She turned her gaze back to Dionysus and slowly pried a hand away from his chest. She closed her eyes as a swarm of images swam into her mind… so… that's what happened. Quickly, she released his hand. She didn't want to see too much. Actually, she felt guilty for what she had just done. It was weird being able to read P-kun and Dionysus like she did. Funny… but they were the only two people in this game that she *could* read. They were also the only two people in this game that she trusted… perhaps that had something to do with it. She filed that piece of information away for future contemplation. This wasn't the time… people were in pain. Poor Celly…
"Damn you men!!" she said, directing the comment to all three Guardians. "Dionysus no baka. Baka baka baka!!"
P-kun and Artemis' jaw dropped at her sudden outburst.
"Where's Celly?"
Artemis silently pointed in the direction of Celly's room. Remy briskly stood and headed in that direction. But before disappearing from view she threw a venomous "I hope you're all satisfied!" over her shoulder and again turned towards Celly's room, intent on trying to help the other Otaku any way she could.
The Guardians could do nothing but watch her retreating form and wonder… "What the heck just happened?"
