"You did what you thought you had to do. It wasn't even you for crying out loud. It was the Nyx."
"But I AM Nyx, don't you see? You can't seperate us. She is me and I am her. As much as i want out of this damn game, I can't. I'm stuck here. I can still feel her, Milton. She lives within me. She is me. When you married me you knew that. Now you have to accept it."
From the distance a woman shreiked. "Baka!!!"
Milton and Nyx turned in the direction of the woman's cry.
"It's Mercy." said Nyx
"And she sounds pissed," the man comented.
Their argument forgotten, they looked knowingly into each other's eyes and chorused. "Orion."
Otaku and Guradian rushed to the scene. Orion, in human form was lying on the ground, upside down, his legs prompted against the trunk of a massive oak. Mercy had hurlded him across the way, and was standing some fifty feet away with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Impressive."
Tasuki no Otaku turned towards the familliar male voice. "Nanii?"
Milton and Nyx appeared on either side of her. The two both nodded their heads at the fallen Guardian.
"I guess I should help him up, ne?" Milton walked over to him and supported him to his feet.
"Milton?" Mercy whispered.
"Milton?" Orion recognized the dead man who was grinning at him. He jumped backwards, tripping on a rock, he landed back on his ass.
"Oh stop quivering!" Nyx shook her head and raised her hand in the Guardian's direction, lifting him to his feet without laying a hand on him.
"But he's dead!" Mercy cried. "How?"
"There's a terrific lighting storm brewing. What are you doing out here? Really? You looking to get fried, blondie?" Nyx opened up HammerSpace.
The Otaku and their Guradians pulled in through the portal.
"Where we going?" asked Milton.
"Castle Anthrax. Celly should be there. We should catch up with her.
Besides, I hear she'd openned a new Starbucks on the premises. We need our coffee." Nyx's eyes glimmered.
"Oh, great..."Milton murmurred under his breath. "Two of them....coffee....shudder."
