Two people leaned against the trunk of a tree, trying to nap. The forest they were in was beautiful, like something out of a dream or wish. It was silent except for the occassional twittering of birds and very peacful.

Which was why the two people were caught by surprise when the stranger stepped in their midst.

But battle instincts were honed in the two, and they leapt up at the stranger's mental command.

"Who are you?" the tallest person demanded.

The stranger answered telepathically. He also relayed valuable information.

"What!" the shorter of the two people asked. "Without us? Really?"

The mysterious man nodded.

The two people shared a look.

"We better tell the others," the tallest said, already turning to leave.

"Yes, this is *not* good," the shorter replied.

The two people left quickly, their nap forgotten.

The mysterious man melted into the darkness of the woods once more, his laughter filling the air.
