"Indulgence" has three representations:

(1) Lina indulges herself CONSTANTLY, whether with food, treasure, blowing up people for fun, whatever. She lives by her heart (and stomach) although she CAN use her mind. That is really what makes her formidable, when it comes right down to it. But I'm not going to go off on any tangents this time.

The point is, Lina is ALL ABOUT indulging herself. She has dreams of luxury (I mean, look at the first season episode where she tries to charge Zel 30 million dollars for that cursed knife and her reaction to Zel's estimation of what 30 million bucks could buy) and she certainly doesn't skimp when it comes to food. Perhaps this is a more childish part of Lina, but...*shrugs* it is still part of who she is.

(2) This represents my indulging myself in putting up a Lina Shrine when I know very well that there are hundreds of other, most likely better, Lina Shrines in existence. I have to, if for no other reason than to declare to the WORLD that I worship Lina Inverse. Yes, it's yet another page to maintain but it's dedicated to a subject I could go on and on and on about, soooo....

And I know Lina's Ego would LOVE having Yet Another Shrine dedicated to her.

And...

(3) This is also YOU indulging me, and possibly giving into your own curiosity, ne? I can't imagine why else you'd be reading this. You indulge my need to put this silly shrine up, and indulge my ego by digging around in it. (You could indulge me even more by emailing me...HINT HINT HINT)

So that pretty much covers it. A three-fold indulgence: Lina's, yours and mine. Thanks for indulging my indulgence by coming to Indulgence.
