JAEDITE
Naoko Takeuchi drew a
wonderful picture, where each of the senshi were paired with a general. Mars was
paired with Jadeite. In the manga, Jadeite seems to be the only general interested
in a senshi.
Rei was lying unconscious in the area Jadeite made, and he came up to her. The words
he spoke were those of possible love, probably not what he was accustomed
to:
"So beautiful...from the time I saw her I've admired her
with all my heart, this girl..."
When Rei became Sailor Mars, ironically, she destroys him with her Fire Soul. In
manga Vol. 11 Rei is faced with another enemy, and sees Jadeite's face again.
Probably this is some hinting to the relationship between the senshi and the generals. |

MR. KAIDOU
Many of you may be wondering
"WHO"S HE?!" Mr. Kaidou only
apperared in the manga, Vol. 11. It was Rei's birthday, and the
whole town was overcome by the melancholic song of the Rain
Tree. She had just met Mr.Kaidou, her father's assistant for her
birthday dinner, and was overcome by old memories. She
remembered how he had told her that just like herself, he did not
intend to marry. During another flashback, Rei saw Mr. Kaidou
and a woman. She ran away, but not before he saw her. When
Mr. Kaidou found her, he explained that her father had set up a
marriage between himself and the daughter of the leader of the
ruling Libreral Democratic Party. Rei asked him if her intended
to marry, and he replied that he did. Rei then yelled at
him:
"If you want to enter politics, if you want to become Father's
successor, all you need to do is...... to marry me..... "
She then reached up and kissed
him. A beautiful tale, if you
want to read the whole thing, Cher has done a beautiful job. |
Mamoru
This is an anime only crush.
Rei dated Mamoru (English = Darien) briefly during the first season of Sailor Moon. However, it
was pretty much one sided, Mamoru was more concerned with finding out who had the
crystals. Rei, was very much infatuated with him, and Tuxedo Kamen, whom she decided
could very much be him (much to Usagi's horror^^). Later, in the Super S series, Rei
told Usagi that she was over him. (Hooray!!) (Sorry, I like
Yuuichiru
better
for Rei!^^) |

Yuuichiru
Due to
popular request (and the fact that I finally have time!)
HERE'S
YUUICHIRU! As many of you out there know, Yuuichiru
(English = Chad),
a major crush on Rei. But, he only exists in the
anime. There have been
quite a few Rei/Yuuichiru episodes, some of which show Rei's
affection for
Yuuichiru, all of which show his affection for Rei <3 |

Although
some people say that Yuuichiru is a victim of unrequited love, I
would have to disagree. Rei and
Yuuichiru share a special bond that at times seems to rival the
bond Rei has with the other Sailor Senshi.
However, I feel that fate has dealt these lovers the same cruel
card that it dealt Romeo and Juliet. They are so
close to each other, physically separated by only a grandfather
who seems to think Rei could do better (say
what!?). However, Rei is forced to keep herself at a
distance, and her life a secret from Yuuichiru. Perhaps
one
day, these two will finally be able to finally show their love
for one another...(This writer is just a little
biased on the subject of
Yuuichiru and Rei.)
