Haha… alright… enough with rambling and babbling… A fanfic by ~> Bulma Briefs ************************************ Karasu Came Back Part Two He burst in and ran into his room. Thank god Shiori wasn’t at home. Kurama shut the door to his room and left his bag that contained the smelly clothes on the floor. Those plans he had for those bundle of smelly damp clothes will just have to wait. He then ran up to his bed and slumped down on it, closing his face with the pillow. Suddenly the window was slid up, then down again with a gentle shutting noise. Kurama closed his eyes tighter, he was afraid that it could be Karasu. :… doozo Inari-sama… please don’t let it be Karasu, don’t let it be Karasu… onegai Shimasu …: he prayed like a little kid. Hiei placed his cloak on the chair and looked at Kurama who was closing his face with the pillow. :… Isn’t he happy to see me? …: thought Hiei. He studied Kurama’s body once again. Kurama had just came back from school and didn’t even pulled out his socks and shoes out yet, Still in complete school uniform. Suddenly he realised something new. Kurama was shaking like a rattle snake. Hiei raised a thin eye-brow. "Kurama?" Hiei called, almost a whisper. Kurama stopped praying. He thought he heard Hiei’s voice. He peeped from under the pillow. It really was Hiei. His Hiei, not Karasu. Kurama threw off the pillow and hugged Hiei tight, sinking into Hiei’s small and compact chest. He hugged Hiei hard. Hiei blinked a few times. Suddenly he pushed Kurama away. Kurama looked at Hiei with watery eyes, hurt. He didn’t expect Hiei to push away at times like this, at times that he was so scared. Scared to death, as if he was going to die. :… I am going to die if Karasu… no… don’t think about it…: Kurama scolded himself. With that, he leaned on the wall, head down, knees up to his chest, arms around it covering his face. He continued to sob. Alone. Alone, he’s always alone. He had never thought about that, he suddenly realised that he was always alone when it comes to love. Of course girls swarm over him like bees but the only true love he wanted all his life was so cold and far away. Of course Hiei always comes to see him. But was that all? :… Yes, that’s all …: Kurama answered silently. Kurama had always showed his love to Hiei. But Hiei seemed so distant and he actually looked like he didn’t have feelings. He looks as if he only has heart for fighting and to get stronger. Kurama had always treated Hiei after he uses his Kokuryuuha, made sure that he was alright and made sure nothing else disturbs him when he was ‘hibernating’. But did Hiei do anything to repay that? Of course not, Kurama wasn’t even sure that Hiei appreciated what he had done to him. What more? Hiei always called him ‘Stupid Kitsune’ even though Kurama always thought that Hiei was just joking, but now he was beginning to think that Hiei did meant what he said. That thought made him want to cry harder. Harder than ever. He suddenly hated this life, hated the body of Shuuichi Minamino. This very human body who has such feelings. That Youko Kurama would not have learnt what was love, he only had a cold heart. Now, he was Shuuichi Minamino. His youko self would also learn the true meaning of love and he would not forget how it was. How it felt like. :… No …: he suddenly scolded himself mentally. Hating this body would also mean that he was hating Shiori, the woman who gave life to this very body. :… No, I love that woman… nothing in the world would make me hate her, nothing …: Kurama assured himself. Even though she taught him about love, he also taught him about life. And how meaningful this life could be. Hiei felt guilty, he shouldn’t have pushed Kurama away. He should have just let him borrow his chest and cry on it. He didn’t knew what to do, so he took his cloak and walked towards the window. He gave Kurama a last glance. :… Still crying …: he said silently. Just as he stepped on the window sill, a Kurama shouted at him. "Go! Go you little rotten son of a…," he bit his lower lip to pause, stopping himself from continuing the next word. Hiei was stunned, he turned back and looked at Kurama. He gave Kurama a weird stare. Kurama had never been mad at him before. "Go! I would never want to see you again!" Kurama shouted and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind it. Hiei stared at the door wide-eyed, his mouth was a bit hanging. Quite puzzled. Hiei gave a snort. "Kitsune no baka," he cursed and jumped out of the window. He jumped from roof to roof with a purpose this time, he was going to talk to someone that he could talk to. The only one besides Kurama. To be continued…
