The Rabbit and the Lion
Part 2
Rated: PG13

She slowly opened her eyes and noticed four girls and 
two cats staring at her. 

"Are you ok Serena?" asked Mina. 

"I feel tired and very hungry," said Serena trying to 
get up, but Amy stopping her and lying her back down 
on bed. They were at Raye's temple in her room. Raye's 
grandfather was at another temple for the week.

"Serena. What happened to you yesterday?" asked Lita.

"What do you mean?" asked Serena. Amy was giving her 
some broth. 

"You disappeared after that Negaverse monster shot at 
you. We looked for you but we couldn't find you. It was 
like you disappeared," said Raye. 

"I don't remember what happened?" said Serena with a 
tired look on her face.

Suddenly Darien came into the room. "Serena! I was so 
worried about you," he said giving her a kiss on the 
head and holding her right hand.

"I'm doing ok Darien," she said with a smile on her 
face.

"What happened to her?" asked Darien.

Lita told him what had happened to Serena. His face 
was in disbelief because he couldn't sense that she 
was in danger. Like something was blocking his link 
to her.

* * *

The day slowly went by and Serena was feeling better 
by mid-afternoon.

"Serena? How are you feeling?" asked Amy with a smile. 

"Much better thanks Amy. Thanks for taking care of me 
you guys," said Serena with a smile and a hug to each 
of her friends. "Do you guys known where my uncle is?" 
she asked.

"We haven't seen him since yesterday," said Mina.

Serena wondered where her uncle was. Serena went outside. 
It was a beautiful day. The sun was shinning and the 
birds were singing their happy songs. Suddenly Serena 
had that strange feeling again. Lita was behind her 
and could tell something was wrong.  

"What's wrong Serena?" she asked.

"I feel something. There is someone around here. I can 
feel him. But he is not human," said Serena.

"Is he from the Negaverse?" asked Luna who was in 
Serena's arms.

"No. He's not from the Negaverse," she said.

The group looked around and could not see anything 
strange. Even Raye couldn't feel anything. Like her 
power was also being blocked. Only Serena could feel 
this presence of the stranger. Suddenly the feeling 
went away and the group started down the temple stairs.

The gang headed over to the place where they found Serena. 
They arrived to the place with a big hole in the side 
of the street that went down into sewer. 

"Amy. Do a scan with your computer to see if it can 
scan anything about the strange," said Luna.

Amy took out her computer and did a scan of the sewer 
floor. It took the computer while to process the data 
it got from the scan. Amy looked at her computer and 
gave the read out to the others.

"The computer says there is traces of water, gas, and 
some chemicals. Not to toxic though," said Amy.

"What about strange things down there," said Mina.

Amy looked at her computer and smiled when she found 
the info she needed. "There is some traces of blonde 
hair which is probably Serena's and wait! There are 
also traces of animal hair. Like the color of gold," 
said Amy who was amazed at the report. The others were 
also surprised at this.

"What kind of animal?" asked Artemis.

Amy did some quick typing. "A lion," she said.

Everyone looked at Serena. She was staring into the 
hole. She had a pale look on her face and she looked 
like she was ready to faint. Darien caught her just in 
time. "SERENA!" he yelled.

Serena came to a few seconds later. "A LION!" she 
screamed. "Why a lion?" she asked.

"Why are you so terrified of lions?" asked Lita. It 
was getting dark now and the moon and the stars were 
visible.

"I can answer that question Lita," said a man in a 
cloak. 

"Uncle! You're here!" said Serena running up to him 
and giving him a hug. 

"Come. Let us go for a walk," said Predator. The group 
gathered around him and they started on a walk to the 
lake in the park.

(Flashback)

"It was back on the Moon Kingdom, about thousand years 
ago. I was six years old and I was visiting Earth with
my mother and sister. 

We were in Africa. It was bueatiful country and still is
to this day. We had a guide show us around the plains of 
Africa. THe gold grass blowing in the summer beeze. It 
was breath taking. 

It was about one o'clock in the afternoon. We had lunch
and I decide to take a walk around. I walked around for 
a half an hour. I was in such peace. 

I suddenly heard a small cry. I slowly walked or to a tree
and could see a small cub sitting next to a female lion.
I looked over at the female lion and could see a gush in 
her chest. It looked like she had been stabbed by a rhino.

The cub cried and cried. Trying to wake her up. It was no
use. 

I felt so sorry for the orphen. I slowly walked up to the
cub and picked him up. I looked around and could see no 
other lions of the pride. So I decide to take him in. 

I wrapped him up in my cloak and showed him to my mother 
ans sister. We went back to the Moon Kingdom the same 
day.

I loved my new pet. So did my sister, mother and my girl 
firend, Kore. I taught him a great many things. But I felt 
something about him. He had a power to him that would 
make him a great fighter. He became my best friend.

The only thing I had trouble with was naming him. After
awhile I finally came up with a name. Things that looked
like yellow looked like gold to me. So I named him 
GoldenClaw. 

After a few years I had some armor made out of gold for 
him. It was magic armor. He loved it.

One day, when my sister was Queen, her daughter was 
wondering around the palace grounds by herself. My 
sister had a thing about her beginning alone.

She wondered into the part of the palace were GoldenClaw 
was. She suddenly found herself staring face to face
with a lion. She was so scared that she couldn't even
scream. Princess Serenity fainted on the floor. I found
her a few minutes later. I took her to her room and
put her to bed. Queen Serenity was worried for the safety
of her daughter.

I had to keep GoldenClaw indoors while Princess Serenity
was outside. The only time I could let my pet out was
during the night. But he loved it.

Princess Serenity had bad dreams for many years after that.
    
Serena is still afraid of lions. Even to this day," 
concluded Predator.

Predator sat against the tree he was sitting against. The 
rest were looking at him like the story was not true.

"Why do you all think I am not telling the truth?" he 
asked.

"Well. It sounds to good to be true," said Mina.

"How do we knew you're telling the truth to us," said 
Lita.

"Have I ever lied to you guys before?" asked Predator 
with a smile.

Suddenly Predator stopped smiling and looked up at an 
incoming figure. It was really five figures: three men 
and two women. They were wearing black general uniforms. 

Predator got up and looked at them. "Scouts transform," 
he said.

"Cosmic Moon Power!"
"Jupiter Star Power!"
"Mars Star Power!"
"Venus Star Power!"    
"Mercury Star Power!"

Darien had turned into Tuxedo Mask while the others 
were turning into the scouts. 

"Who are they uncle?" asked Sailor Moon.

Predator looked at the five generals. "They are generals 
of the Negaverse. They are not part of Beryl's army, 
but a part of another Negaverse Kingdom, from the plant 
Chaos. They take their names from animals that they 
have," he said.

"How right you are," said Wolf, a tall man with black 
hair with a ponytail and a wolfish smile. "These are 
my colleagues; Bearcat, Hyena, Crock, and Tiger," said 
Wolf. 

"It has been a long time since I last battled with you 
five," said Predator. 

"Yes it has," said Bearcat a tall woman with dirty 
blond hair. 

"Now it's time for us to fight to the death," said 
Crock with sharp teeth.

"Well then. Prepare for a battle then," said Predator. 

The Scouts came up next to him.

"Let's dance," he said.

Suddenly out of no where portals opened and black 
ninjas came out of the portal. There were about fifteen 
of them. "Attack!" screamed Crock. 

The ninjas took out there swords and went after the 
Scouts. Predator looked at the advancing ninjas. 
Something strange about them. "There not human. Their 
robots," he said. Predator made a ball of energy 
and sent it towards one of the ninjas. When the 
ball hit the ninja, he flew into pieces of black 
cloth and metal. 

The Scouts jumped into battle. Dodging swords, pouches 
and kicks from the attacking ninjas. 

Predator just walked through the battle and stood in
front of the five generals.
He looked at each of them. The last he fought them 
they had took out half his army. Now it was time to 
take revenge. 

The five generals took out their swords and stood 
in attack stance. 

Predator took out his sword. It shinned in the moonlight 
and it started to glow. It drew its power from the 
moon's light. "Before we begin. Let me call someone," 
said Predator.

Suddenly a thick fog came rolling in. The five generals 
looked at the fog pass Predator. Then a figure stood 
next to Predator. The figure stood on four legs. Something 
started to shine gold that was on the figure. 

"Who is that?" asked Hyena.

The fog rolled away and a lion was standing next to 
the once general of the Moon Kingdom.  "GoldenClaw. 
ATTACK!" yelled Predator. 

GoldenClaw jumped up from were he was sitting and 
jumped on Crock who was unprepared for the attack. 
GoldenClaw dug his claws into Crocks shoulders and 
ripped down all the way above his stomach. "GRRRAAAA!" 
yelled Crock with a terrible scream. He fell to the 
ground, blood started to run on the ground. 

"He killed Crock," said Bearcat who was now running 
towards Predator with her sword draw. Predator stood
 fast and his sword was ready to block. Bearcat sent 
her sword down on Predator and he blocked her sword 
up and Predator cut her stomach with his sword. The 
moment was so fast that Bearcat did not even know that 
she was mortally wounded.  She stood there ready to 
attack again and suddenly dropped her sword and grabbed 
her stomach in pain. "How?" she said with a shocked 
expression on her face. She fell to both knees. She 
had tears in her eyes. "Thank you Predator. Now I can 
be reunited with my husband," she said smiling at
Predator. She fell over and was gone.

Hyena looked at Crock and Bearcat. There were now 
three generals left. 

Hyena looked at Predator with a half smile. "To bad 
you were to late to save your army. Well? What was 
left of it," said Hyena laughing. 

Predator looked at the laughing general. She had a 
killer wit to her that made her dangerous. Predator 
turned around to see the Scouts with the aid of Tuxedo 
Mask had taken out 8 ninjas. He watched one of the 
ninjas fall to Sailor Jupiter's Supreme Thunder. Predator 
looked at GoldenClaw and he went to the aid of 
Sailor Moon who was being over whelmed by four ninjas. 

GoldenClaw ran over to Sailor Moon and jumped on one 
of the ninjas who was going to throw a knife at her. 
Then he ripped another one who was going to cut Sailor 
Moon in two. GoldenClaw then stood in front of Sailor 
Moon, protecting her. 

Sailor Moon looked at the huge lion come running to her 
rescue. He took out two of the ninjas and was standing 
in front of her, protecting her. 'He's protecting me," 
she thought. 

Suddenly both ninjas attacked and GoldenClaw countered. 
The ninjas brought there swords down on GoldenClaw. 
One sword hit GoldenClaw's armor, but the other hit 
his leg and he started to bleed. GoldenClaw jumped 
up on the one who hit him and tore him apart. Sailor 
Moon used her Moon Tiara on the other. 

GoldenClaw walked over to Sailor Moon who and she 
stared into his eyes. There were so beautiful. She 
had tires in her eyes. "Thank you for saving me 
GoldenClaw," she said. 

GoldenClaw looked at her. Sailor Moon look at the 
wound he got from battle. Sailor Moon tore some of 
her skirt and dressed GoldenClaw's wound. He gave her 
a low growl of thank you. "Your welcome," said Sailor 
Moon. She then gave him a big hug.

Predator saw the whole thing and looked at the three 
remaining generals. He watched the three run at him 
screaming there battle cries and swinging there swords. 
Predator stood there and put out his right hand, and
said "Full Moon...Eclipse!" 

Suddenly the moon was going through a full eclipse. 
Mercury got out her computer and started to type 
really fast. She couldn't figure out why this was 
happening. "There is not going to be a Lunar eclipse 
for another two years!" she said amazed. The rest of 
the Scouts looked at her and back at Predator. Soon 
it was dark and No one could see anything. All they 
could hear was swords hitting each other and three 
screams. 

Just has fast has it happened the eclipse was done. 
Predator walked over to the group. The others looked 
behind him to see the last three generals on the floor, 
dead. 

"How did you do that?" asked Mercury. 

"I'll tell you some other time," said Predator with 
a smile. He looked over at Sailor Moon who was still 
hugging GoldenClaw. "Sailor Moon?" he said. 

"I'm no longer afraid of him uncle," she said coming 
up to Predator and giving him a hug. 

"Good. I know that would break your fear of lions. 
GoldenClaw! Come here," he said. 

GoldenClaw walked over to Predator and sat down next 
to his friend. "Scouts this is GoldenClaw. GoldenClaw 
these are the Scouts and Tuxedo Mask. Where are Luna 
and Artemis?" asked Predator.

"Where up here," said Artemis. 

"Come on down you two," said Sailor Venus. 

Luna and Artemis came down very slowly. They were 
terrified of GoldenClaw.

"Don't worry Luna and Artemis. GoldenClaw will not 
hurt you," said Predator.

Luna and Artemis walked over to GoldenClaw and sniffed 
at him. GoldenClaw sniffed back and licked both cats. 
Luna and Artemis were soaked from one lick. Everyone 
started to laugh. 

"It's late. We should all be getting home before it 
gets to cold," said Predator. 

Everyone transferred back to normal cloths and 
went there separate ways. Darien was going to escort 
Serena home. Serena went to say goodnight to her uncle 
and GoldenClaw but they were gone. And so were the 
bodies of the generals.

"Darien?" asked Serena

"Yes?" responded Darien.

"Do you think my uncle was telling the truth about 
GoldenClaw?" she asked.

"Well. Has your uncle ever lied to you before," 
asked Darien.

"No," she said.

Serena and Darien were in front of Serena's house. 

"I'll see you tomorrow?" said Serena.

"Of course," said Darien kissing Serena warmly on 
the lips. Both were on cloud nine. Serena felt
like she was walking on air. They finally broke.
Serena was a little flushed. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight Darien," said Serena. 

"Serena," said Luna jumping off the wall and landing 
in Serena's arms. "Let's go to sleep."

"Go idea," said Serena. 

They both went in. Across the street Predator and 
GoldenClaw watched the two go into the house.

"Goodnight my niece. Come GoldenClaw, we have some 
business to attend to," said Predator opening a portal. 
They both walked in and the portal closed.
