Trepidation The line looms before me,
A dark gash in the sand, Demanding I make a choice And declare where I stand. Which decision to make? Which side to stand on? For once I make my choice, The other will be gone. Do I proceed forward? Or merely need to stay back? Does indecision keep me frozen? Or is it courage that I lack? But time waits for no man. A decision must be made. Do I take the step forward Or make do with that I stayed? For once I make my choice, Nothing will ever be the same. I could lose everything in a instant Or in a instant everything gain. |
