Make a peace with her past by helping Sailor Sol rescue Jonathan. Was killed by Scorpios for that act. After her capture during the Negaverse attack on Pluto, Elena was put in the service of the Negaverse. In an attempt to break from her life on Pluto, she changed her name to Galena. Attempting to escape her memories, she tried to put her heart in her missions. It is unclear how Galena met Gypsum and Scorpios. Of the three, she is clearly the weakest, under the command of the other two. However, Galena is still a strong opponent. Because of her life during the Silver Millenium, primarily her relationship with Prince Charon, Gelana has a rocky relationship with both of her leaders. With Gypsum, much of Galena's hostility stems from the fact that Gypsum is responsible for Charon's death and the destruction of the Sol system. In the case of Scorpios, her love for him is countered by her loathing of what he has become. Galena also still habors some bitterness toward Sailor Sol, for both stealing Charon's heart and her lack of protection on their mission. However, Galena helps Sailor Sol rescue Jonathan, giving her former rival a second chance at romantic happiness. Because of her feelings toward Scorpios and the shame of her service to the Negaverse, she stays with Scorpios. However, it is Scorpios who kills her, because of her aid to Sailor Sol's escape. Tragically, in the end, she is betrayed and destroyed by the one she loves. |
