----- This is a very basic preview of all 39 episodes of the show.  For a more in depth look at each episode check out my episode guide.  This should give you a good general understanding of what happened over the course of the show.  I have stuck with the Americanized names for everything.

Episodes 1-5:

----- The show opens with Mia and her grandfather working as clouds roll in over the city of Toyama.  A boy named Yuli is out shopping with his parents.  A young man named Ryo appears and is escorted by a tiger, White Blaze.  Riot police try to contain him as the clouds grow darker.  A dynasty soldier appears and begins attacking.  Ryo counter attacks and Mia and Yuli get caught up in the battle as well.  Four other heroes appear, Sage, Sai, Kento, and Rowen.  Together they try to defeat the soldier.  They call upon mystical armor and Ryo vanquishes the soldier with "Flare Up Now!," his special attack.  Talpa's sky castle appears and the four warlords introduce themselves as Anubis, Sekhmet, Kale, and Dais.

----- The military launches a counter attack against the forces of the Dynasty.  Talpa is able to take control of the military vehicles and turn them against each other.  Anubis is sent down to dispose of the Ronins.  The Ronin's chose not to armor up, but rather to use the Armor to form the Circle of Light in order to protect Mia and Yuli.  The Ancient appears as Anubis is winning and breaks the Circle so that they can use their Armor once more.  After a long and brutal battle where is taking on 5 opponents single handedly neither side appears to be winning.  Talpa then uses his power to scatter all 5 of the Ronin Warriors to the places where their Armor's formed and put them into a state of suspended animation/regeneration.

----- Mia, Yuli, and White Blaze find one of Ryo's swords and set out to meet him.  Anubis follows them to a volcano where Ryo is resting.  Ryo awakens and slowly makes his way out of the volcano.  Anubis faces off against him and this time Ryo seems to be getting the upper hand very easily.  Anubis concludes that since Ryo's armor is the Wildfire, he can absorb power from the volcano and become very strong.  The fight pushes them into the volcano and Ryo becomes still more powerful.  Ryo is able to defeat Anubis with ease.  Ryo must now set out to find the rest of the Ronin Warriors.

----- Ryo, Mia, Yuli, and White Blaze head to Shinsha University to meet up with Dr. Coji in order to find out how to find the other Ronins.  Talpa sends the warlord Sekhmet to dispose of them.  When the arrive at Dr. Coji's they find that he is possessed by the Dynasty.  Dr. Coji tries to attack them but is stopped by Ryo who frees him from Dynasty control.  He tells them of a poem that tells the locations of all 5 of the Armor's resting places.  White Blaze stumbles upon Sekhmet's trap and Ryo is alerted.  Ryo and Sekhmet battle it out and it appears that Ryo has defeated Sekhmet.  Sekhmet later rises and reveals that he allowed himself to appear defeated so he could follow them.

----- Ryo and company travel to the Pinnacles to find Sage.  The warlord Sekhmet follows them there.  He battles with Ryo at the entrance to the cave and blinds him with the venom from his swords.  Ryo fends off Sekhmet and now tries to find Sage while blinded.  Ryo is somehow able to locate Sage by using his Armor and is able to free him before Sekhmet kills him.  Sage then blasts Sekhmet with his "Thunder Bolt Cut!" vanquishing him.  Sage is able to use the healing power of his Armor to revive Ryo.

Episodes 6-10:
----- Ryo, Sage, and company travel to the Whirlpools in the Sea of Toyama and agree to split up.  Ryo and Yuli will look for Sai at the Whirlpools.  And Sage and Mia will go and travel to the Throne of the Gods to find Kento.  Ryo dives into the water to find Sai.  He is ambushed by Dynasty troopers and eventually confronted by Sekhmet himself.  The venom from Sekhmet's Armor is especially potent in the water and Ryo takes a lot of damage from just the poison alone.  Ryo is able to reach Sai before Sekhmet and somehow free him.  Sai and Sekhmet fight underwater where Sekhmet's poison appears to have no effect on Sai.  Sekhmet eventually brings the battle to land and Ryo and Sai team up to defeat him.

----- Sage and Mia arrive at the Pinnacles and search for Kento.  Sage is attacked by Dynasty Soldiers and possessed forest animals.  He is able to successfully fend them off.  Kale appears and fights with him.  Kale beats him and Sage and Mia hide.  Sage goes into meditation to try and discover the true power of his Armor.  Kale slams his Sword of Darkness (a no-datchi) into the Throne of the Gods (it looks like a big rock with some ornaments on it) and commands it to penetrate through till it finds Kento and kills him.  Mia foolishly trys to taunt Kale, who is able to capture her her and then freezes her and the rest of the landscape.  Sage must now fight Kale one on one.  Sage eventually charges towards the rock and frees Kento.  Kale vanishes in the explosion as the rock bursts open.

----- The Ronins regroup and try to find out how to find Rowen.  Dais requests to use one of his plans to destroy them.  Dais fights the Ronins and quickly gets the upper hand.  He challenges them to meet him at Saendie where they will find Rowen.  Dais uses his powers of illusion to make himself appear to be Rowen.  Ryo and Sai are the first to arrive.  Dais tricks them by using his illusions to each one seem like the other to the eyes of the enemy.  They both use their special attacks and blast each other.  Kento and Sage arrive next.  Dais does the same trick.  Sage puts two and two together and figures out its  a trick, and drops his weapon.  Kento however is not so bright and winds up blasting Sage with "Iron Rock Crusher!"  Kento then turns his wrath to Dais and is able to defeat him.  At the end both the Dynasty and the Ronins learn that Rowen is resting in space.  Now each must try to reach him first.

----- Both teams try to find a way to reach Rowen.  Talpa summons his Nether Spirits to form a massive energy ball which will hurtle towards space and destroy Rowen.  As the Nether Spirits focus their power and form the energy ball Ryo and Kento charge into the city.  The energy ball is released and the Ancient uses his staff to shoot it down.  Talpa summons more Nether Spirits to form a second energy ball.  Ryo and Kento fight their way to the site where the Nether Spirits are forming the energy balls.  They are met by Anubis who is able to absorb the energy of evil and grow extremely powerful.  Kento fights off Anubis as Ryo jumps onto the escaping energy ball.

----- As the energy ball hurtles into space, Ryo is absorbed into it.  He focuses his power and uses it to destroy the energy ball with a "Flare Up Now!"  Ryo floats in space only protected by his armor.  Rowen revives and is able to rescue Ryo.  Together they fly down the Earth.  Anubis awakens to his spirit, 'loyalty' and disobeys Talpa to go and fight them.  They are both weak and Anubis could easily kill them but he chooses not to because he wants a glorious fight and feels that such a battle would be without honor.  Rowen recovers enough to use "Arrow Shock Wave!" which split's Anubis's helmet, revealing that he is human under that Armor.  Talpa quickly calls Anubis back to him.

Episods 11-15:
-----
The Ronins enter the Dynasty gates and proceed towards Talpa's sky castle.  Mia, Yuli, and White Blaze are told to stay behind.  Dais is sent to deal with them.  He uses the Nether Spirits to create a trap which prevents the Ronins from armoring up.  With the Ronin's in only sub armor Dais quickly gains the upper hand.  Mia, Yuli and White Blaze rush in to try and help.  The Ancient appears before them and gives them his staff.  Mia and Yuli charge in and Dais attacks them.  The staff protects them and wards off the Nether Spirits.  Ryo is then able to armor up and blast Dais with "Flare Up Now!"

----- The Ronins are now in the city and making their way to the castle.  Yuli sees a ruined skateboard shop which reminds him of his parents and why he was in the city in the first place.  Dynasty soldiers then attack and the group gets separated.  Mia, Yuli, White Blaze are chased through the city.  Each of the Ronins takes their turn trying to protect them and then they get further separated.  Mia is still carrying the Ancient's staff from their encounter with Dais.  Sage eventually meets up with them and sticks with them. Kale then appears and challenges Sage. Kale easily gains the upper hand as his Sword of Darkness feasts on the light which empowers Sage.  Yuli then grabs the Ancient's staff and uses it against Kale.  Sage is then able to gain the upper hand and defeat Kale.

----- Rowen and Kento meet up for a brief time and are then separated again by the attacking Dynasty Soldiers.  Kento is singled out and falls into a strange world.  He lands on a field which is the burial ground of all those slain by the armors.  He is confronted by Talpa.  They reveal to him that the Ronin and Warlord armors are all cast of the same metal.  Talpa states that the 9 armors were created to destroy mankind and that the more the armors fight the stronger they become.  Talpa tells Kento that the more he fights the closer he will become to the Dynasty.  Kento fights illusions of the other Ronin armors.  Dais then appears and tells him a little more about the dark nature of the Armors and tells him that he will be the first of the Ronin's to turn evil.  Kento is able to defeat Dais but he is left to consider what he has heard about the dark nature of the Armor.

----- Anubis stands in a pit of lava as it wraps around him.  Talpa tells the Nether Spirits to empower him.  The Nether Spirits chant, the lava reacts, and Anubis becomes charged with evil.  Talpa then dispatches him to deal with the Ronins.  The Ronins meet up at an abandoned amusement park and are attacked  by Dynasty Soldiers.  Anubis, still without helmet ,confronts the Ronins.  They are all shocked that he is human but attack.  He overwhelms them and they are forced to Armor up.  Kento chooses not to armor up, for fear that his Armor's true nature might take over.  After a bit of convincing, and getting beaten down, he tries to armor up again, but is unable.  The Ancient appears and reveals that the Armors actually work according to what is in your hearts and how you feel.  Yuli tries to attack Anubis and is smacked down.  He tells Kento to put on his Armor and fight. Kento armors up and is able to defeat Anubis.  Talpa calls Anubis back to him but the Ancient interferes and brings Anubis to him.

----- The Ancient talks to Anubis and tells him that Talpa is only using him for his armor.  He then told Anubis that the armors were all splinted from the same essence.  He revealed Anubis' spirit 'loyalty' to him and told him that he had the right to choose his own master.  Anubis decides that he cannot rejoin Talpa's ranks.  Talpa sends the other three warlords down to capture Anubis.  The Warlords fight off the Ronins as well as Anubis, and they are finally able to recapture Anubis.  The Ancient warns the Ronins about the dangers of the sky castle and says that he will be the bridge to Talpa's domain.  The Ancient confronts Talpa and they battle.  Talpa defeats him because the Ancient sacrifices himself.  From his sacrifice a bridge, which resembles a coloum of light, is formed which will allow the Ronins to get to Talpa's sky castle.

Episodes 16-20:
----- The Ronin Warriors enter the colum of light and try to attack Talpa's palace.  Talpa sends his Nether Spirits to kill them, but the spirit of the Ancient intervenes and saves them. The Dark Warlords recieve extra power from Talpa and go to face off against the Ronins.  The Ronins enter the castle and face off.  Kale and Sage do battle.  Sai and Ryo fight Sekhmet for a bit, but Sai holds off Sekhmet so Ryo can try to get to Talpa.  Kento and Rowen face off against Dais.  Kento tackles Dais so that Rowen can go to find Talpa.  Ryo charges though the castle looking for Talpa.  The spirit form of Talpa's helmet appears just as Rowen comes to give Ryo back up.  Talpa shows them that as the hatred on earth grows so does the Nether Realm.  Anubis states that the Ancient has healed the hatred in his heart and that he is about to join the Ronins in battle.

----- The Ronin Warriors continue their assault on the castle and their fight against the Warlords.  Ryo is knocked out of the castle and falls a long way but is able to grab onto a ledge before falling to earth.  Mia, Yuli, and White Blaze enter the coloum of light and ride it up to Talpa's castle.  As the Ronins and Warlords continue to fight it out, Talpa decided that the Warlords are ineffective for defeating the Ronin Warriors.  He comands his warlords to return to him.  The Ronins decided that they must go and find Ryo so that they have a chance at defeating the Warlords.  Talpa absorbs the four Warlord Armors and his body is partially restored to him.  Mia, Yuli, and White Blaze find Ryo as he is being attacked by Dynasty Soldiers.  The other 4 Ronins jump into the battle and fend off the Dynasty Soldiers.  The Ronins link up their armors by forming a big energy pyramid and blast all the Dynasty Soldiers to ash.  Anubis breaks out of Talpa's prison and states that he is now a Ronin Warrior.  Talpa tells the Ronins that the armor that they wear belongs to him and that the Ancient stold it from him.  Talpa's hands (which are huge) break the enregy pyramid and begin to smash the Ronins.  Ryo's armor goes haywire and deenergizes as Talpa continues his attack against the Ronins.  Talpa absorbs the Armors of Kento, Sai, and Rowen.  Mia and Yuli are captured by Dynasty Soldiers but Anubis frees them  Talpa absorbs Sage's armor as Ryo's Armor heals hiw wounds.  Ryo powers up and Anubis helps him attack Talpa.  Talpa absorbs Anubis' Armor leaving Ryo to fight Talpa alone.

----- Talpa, who is as big as a giant now faces off against Ryo.  The Ronins spirits, which are now imprisoned in Talpa try to resist his control and try to make Talpa ease off of Ryo.  Ryo tries to find some way to kill Talpa without hurting his friends which are imprisoned inside of Talpa.  Talpa almost captures Ryo, but Ryo slips and falls off the castle once more.  Talpa uses the attacks of the Ronin Warriors Armors that he has absorbed on Ryo.  Ryo's friends once again try to hold Talpa at bey as he is about to capture Ryo.  They try to convince Ryo to kill Talpa even if it means their death.  Ryo is unable to do it.  Talpa regains control of his armor and prepares to absorb Ryo's armor.

----- Talpa prepares to absorb Ryo's armor.  The Ancient's spirit appears to Ryo and shows him the first fight between the Ancient and Talpa that happened 1000 years ago.  The Ancient defeated Talpa 1000 years ago and split his armor into the 9 armors (5 Ronin and 4 Warlord).  Talpa absorbs Ryo's armor and then destroys half of Toyama.  Ryo floats in a vast void (inside of Talpa somehow), and then settles down next to the other Ronins for peace.  The Ancient says that he was mistaken to involve the Ronins in this battle.  He says that the battle will last forever as long as human's hearts are filled with hatred.  Ryo decides that he must fight Talpa again and then calls upon the Ancient's help.  Ryo calls upon his friend's help and then breaks free of Talpa.  He appears standing on one of the pillars of the Dynasty castle.  The powers of his friends burst forth from Talpa and a new White Armor (The Armor of Inferno) forms up around Ryo.  Talpa attacks Ryo and Ryo blasts him with "Flare Up Now!"  Talpa is destroyed (not really, he'll be back) and Ryo's friends are freed.  The Dynasty sky castle and any traces of the Dynasty attack vanish.

----- Ryo has a dream of himself fighting against Dynasty Soldiers and then against Talpa and being defeated by him.  The other Ronins continue training for fear of further attacks by the Nether Realm.  Saranbo appears and states that he wants to get that armor.  Mia is studying up on Ryo's new armor and tells him that it is called the Inferno Armor.  Sage, and Rowen are driving in a jeep and ambushed by Saranbo.  He scans them for the Armor of Inferno but does not find it.  The Ronins decide to protect Ryo by not telling him about Saranbo, and then attacking him themselves.  Rowen, Sage, Kento, and Sai try to ambush Saranbo but fail.  Saranbo appears before Ryo and challenges him.  Ryo chages to his friends aid as Saranbo chases him.  Saranbo pounds him until the Inferno forms around him.  Ryo blasts Saranbo with "Flare Up Now!"  Saranbo was not defeated and now waits for another chance to take the Inferno armor.
