The Place: They have Gatch laserdiscs here, as well as other goodies. Their prices are excellent with a discount of %15 over retail! They also offer a LD reservation service , but I haven't had the opportunity to use it. I definitely recommend this place!

Otaku Publishing Limited: London retailer with NTSC copies of the 1994 OAVs in stock. While still limiting the audience to those with dual- or NTSC-format VCRs, it's still a cheaper point of contact for our European friends as opposed to U.S. orders. Also carry the OST and BGM collection on CD.

Splashpage Comics and Toys International: Includes such Gatchaman merchandise as a scroll from the OAVs and Ken figures.

Amazing Gasyapon World: Mail-order source for Gasyapon (those little plastic figurines, keychains, etc. that one finds in game centers and "UFO Catcher" games in Japan). They will take foreign orders. Page26 of their catalog offers the Gatchaman SD keychains (due to be released in July), as well as Ken and Casshan figures. Recommended!

Anime Crash!: Lots of anime-related items, mostly new. You can purchase the flyer toys from the 1994 OAVs here, as well as the occasional laserdisc or CD.

Cool Stuff!: Toys, video for sale. Lists the Tatsunoko action figures, but as of this writing (June 21, 1998), they're sold out. Mediacom dolls are listed, but no prices given.

San Francisco Laserdisc: Will special order any LDs, given the information to do so. Visit their anime LD web page at http://members.aol.com/YohkoMano/sflaser/anijap.htm.

Footlight Records: Their on-line catalog includes Japanese film soundtracks, including Gatchaman volume 2 (no more specific than that, I'm afraid). Check them out at http://www.footlight.com/filmjp.html.

Super Collector: Lots of Gatch stuff (though my browser crapped out after a couple of their pages... I hate Netscape...). Check them out at http://www.supercollector.com/.

Third Planet Videos: Had a few Gatchaman videocassettes for sale. Possibly bootlegged, since they're offering tapes of Gatch II subtitled, as well as BOTP videos converted from international sources. If you'd like to find out for yourself, visit their web page at http://www.third-planet.com/videos.html. If anyone has any information concerning their legitimacy, please let me know -- I don't want to malign anyone's reputation, nor do I want to promote professional bootleggers.

Victoria Animart: (Canadian) Supposedly has Gatch merchandise in their on-line catalog, though I couldn't connect to their site.

Mangaya: (Japan) The place to order direct, if anyone tells you they don't have it in stock. They can often get used LDs at about half the price.

Joseph Koch: This is a comic retailer who sends out a catalog from time to time, and I somehow ended up on the mailing list. He does carry BOTP comic books (see Other Merchandise page). Prices are high for a comic that isn't worth a whole lot, though (up to $6), so if you can't find it in back rooms at your local comic shops and you really need 'em that bad, you can find them here.

Another couple of places to look for or sell merchandise are the newsgroups rec.arts.anime.marketplace and rec.toys.misc. The various on-line auctions also may have Gatchaman or BOTP items from time to time, eBay being one which has Gatchaman items quite often. Check them out, but buyer beware -- prices may be high for your tastes.
