I have access to gatchaman series 2 on LD. the tapes would be in mono though (no cash for a real vcr:) and a good chunk of series 1. The subtitled version of the movie, bad copies of the new oavs, and a scattering of battle of the planets episodes( for the most part of a poor quality as well) If people are willing to wait a month and to pay for the postage/tape I'll be glad to help them out. or I'm always open to trades. (I'd like to see the parody stuff you mentioned:)
Folks in the Ottawa region! (that's Canada for those of you who aren't good at geography) Some subtitled episodes, the OAVs, and the movie are available in your area. Check out the fansub list provided by the University of Ottawa Anime Club (Note new URL).
By the way, you might want to keep your eyes open during the convention season. Sherbert Productions currently has two Gatch parodies: Ninja Team Gatchaman: 7-Zark-7 Must Die!, and Ninja Team Gatchaman: Bring Me the Head of Sandy Frank!.
The videos were shown at Anime Weekend Atlanta III for Gatchapalooza '97 and I can personally attest to their quality (meaning: I almost wet myself watching them)! Good job, Sherbert!
