Now, according to Code Name: Sailor V, Sailor Venus lived in Magellan Castle above the planet Venus. Living on Venus at the time was a man named Adonis, who was a member of the army and the Goddess Venus' mystical lover. He was secretly in love with Sailor Venus, but didn't have a high enough rank to get close to her. When the Dark Kingdom attacked the Moon, Sailor Venus went there to protect the Princess, and her army was given to Prince Endymion on loan. Kunzite was given command of Adonis' group. Queen Beryl then captured and brainwashed five warriors, not four: Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoicite, Kunzite, and Adonis, who then became known as Danburite.

When the Dark Kingdom was revived in present day Tokyo, Danburite was the first to be sent out, and attacked Japan before Jadeite was given his chance. Danburite ruled the Dark Agency, which was part of the Dark Kingdom, and took his orders from Kunzite. However, Danburite was still in love with Sailor Venus, now Sailor V, and took the form of Kaitou Ace. As Ace, Danburite protected Sailor V from his own followers on two occassions. During the final battle, Danburite helped Sailor V recover her memories of her past life, and was killed when he attacked her.

Danburite used the Kaitou Ace identy to gather energy and money from several countries around the world. He was extremely popular in Japan, and in China.
