Pokemon! I Choose You!
- Satoshi is a 10 year old boy who lives in Masara Town and loves Pokemon. He wants to be a Pokemon Trainer, but on the day of departure he slept in. He hurried to Professor Orchid's home, but Zenigame, Hitokage, and Fushigidane had already been taken by other trainers. Satoshi was given the Electric Mouse Pikachu as his first Pokemon, and he also received a Pokemon Zukan and Monster Balls. Pikachu refused to go into the Monster Ball because he didn't like to be confined, so Satoshi left for Tokiwa City with Pikachui at his side (with help from a rope when Pikachu refused to move). On the road Satoshi found an easy to catch Pokemon, Poppo, and Pikachu would be strong against it. Pikachu refused to help, so Satoshi just threw the Monster Ball. Poppo used its sand attack and wing attack on Satoshi and then escaped. (Koratta) Pikachu watched all of this from a nearby tree, laughing at Satoshi's misfortune.
He then saw another bird, and thought if he threw a rock, he might weaken it enough to catch it. The bird turned out to be Onisuzume, a bad tempered bird that attacks in flocks. Onisuzume attacked Satoshi and Pikachu, and it called its flock to help. Pikachu and Satoshi ran away (Mankey, Sando, Gyarados, Koi King). A girl named Kasumi, also on her way to Tokiwa City, caught Satoshi and Pikachu (with her fishing pole) after they fell into a river. Satoshi took Kasumi's bike to get away when the Onisuzume flock reappeared. Even though Pikachu was injured, his thundershock attack (combined with a thunderbolt from the rainstorm that had started) drove the Onisuzume flock away. Now Pikachu and Satoshi are both worn out, and the weather began to clear. Satoshi looked up and saw the legendary Pokemon Houou.
