Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa (Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind)

In English

The only English version commercially available today is the horrendously mangled "Warriors of the Wind" from New World Video. About a quarter of the movie was cut in this version, and Nausicaa was called "Princess Zandra". It's rather difficult to find these days, but please forget about it if you have.

Disney is going to release the newly dubbed version (uncut), but we don't know when that will be.

In Japanese

Video:                                                                              4,500 yen, Letterboxed, Hi Fi, Digital new master. Comes with "Seven Days of Fire" clip. from Buena Vista Home Entertainment (Japan).

Laserdisc:                                                                    9,538 yen, from Tokuma Japan Communications.

It is also included in "Ghibli ga Ippai" LD Box set (13 disc set, TKLO 50180, from Tokuma Japan Communications). The box set costs about 1,000 dollars.
